Looks like a real good auction. Lots of great stuff to look at as always.Brought back a little memory. Had the Realistic Navaho 23 channel CB back in '75. Nice little outfit until antenna got hit by lightning. Too high! Thanks for the video Bob and Mrs. RW.
At 1:16 in the first thing that caught my eye is the Silvertone 7224 4- band receiver. A wannabe Zenith TransOceanic radio from 1956. At 2:00 in the H.H. Scott 399 tube stereo amp. Later a 1937 Philco model 640?, signal corps TV-2/U tube tester, and some interesting tube radios. Holy crap a Bendix AM toaster sold for $12.50. Not surprised how much those rare Western Electric tubes went for. Thanks Mrs RW!
My father yelled at me once for buying a car without the motor. I rebuilt a motor, found a working transmission, and sold the whole lot and more than doubled my money and I didn't put the motor or trans in the car. I think that made him more upset, but he didn't show it....LOL
My brother Ron has that first one the Military tube tester and I have quite a few of those radios you showed in my collection plus a lot more Hallicrafters SX series of radios the most expensive of which is the Halicrafters SX28A only 2000 produced. But looks like you had a great bunch to choose from Bob. Thanks for the video.
Well.... I don't dislike them. I think they're just mis-understood. Dirty pins and dirty sockets are their own worst enemy. I wire brush pins and clean sockets, then they're happy.
Good prices! Thanks for sharing!

Seems like the prices have been very reasonable. I came home with some great deals! The.Bendix price shocked me too.
Love the JD Auction vids! Thank you Mrs. RW for the video work! Really good prices, def a buyer's market!
Thanks! She gets better and more comfortable with the camera every time time she uses it.
I bought a farm radio but I don't have a farm!
I bought a boat anchor radio the other day but I don’t have a boat!
😆

Thanks Larry. I did a SX-28 20 years ago. I'll never work on another one.
What did the Scott Allwave 15 end up going for? That would have been one of my bidding picks if I was able to attend.
I don't remember.... I know it went for less than 100 bucks!
I am going to come to one of them one day
You'd have a great time! The free bagels are good too...... Hope you had a wonderful New Year!
Stuff went cheap 😢
Gotta come to Joisey, and join the fun. Next auction date has not been released yet!
"nobody likes loctals" Ain't that the truth? Some days I think youtube's Shango or ARF's Dutch Rabbit has the right take on those.
