It's now official: NO teams will reach 100 wins. Last time this happened (in a full length season) was a full 10 years ago in 2014.
wild pitchers, and then that throw to home in the 1st inning, was so high, he was closer than the mound and still couldnt locate the catchers glove.
Buehler wasn't even bad today. He was average. Rockies pitched really well and shut down the Dodgers on all crucial moments. Umpiring is beyond our control, but we never made contact.
They need Yamamoto for the Padres, not against the Rockies.
Yamamoto is 0-2 vs the Padres with an era at 12.00. They do not want him pitching vs the Padres.

Buehler pitched well. He allowed five hits, two of which were HRs, and struck out nine!His ball control, which was a challenge, was also good today.
What bothered me was the disappointed look on Hudson's face when he went back to the duck out.

I know it's impossible for the Dodgers to win 7 games in a row, but I wish that we lost because it was the team that was better than us and not because of a horrific ump. Still though, offense needs to shore up for that series against the Padres, Mookie swinging first pitch against someone who JUST got in the game is such a horrible mistake.
Sometimes I think Bartolo Colon could run to first base faster than Mookie Betts....
happy to see the underdog Rockies defeat the super team LA dodgers . It seems there are a lot more errors in september . Many players all over the Major League are tired physically and mentally . 162 games is too much

Sad to think a team that invested over a billion dollars on Yamamoto, Glassnow, Teoscar and Shohei did worse than Kershaw, David Peralta and JD Martinez

Dodgers need to shut Ohtani down for the rest of the season including the playoffs to rest his arms for next year and avoid freak injuries. They will not get anywhere in the playoffs and will lose the first series. San Diego might even win the division. Who knew the pitching staff would be so bad this season compared to previous ones.

Having to rely on Buehler in the postseason shows just how tough the Dodgers' starting rotation is right now. However, aside from the umpire's poor calls, the lineup missed every opportunity to come back today, so that’s a bigger reason for the loss. Also, the Padres have closed the gap to three games, but if we win the series against the Rockies tomorrow and then sweep the Padres, we'll be fine.💙🤞
