It's not a matter of knowing their grooming schedule lol. That would've helped, but he was going around a pretty much blind corner going at least 90kph. That's a recipe for a crash. He was inanely lucky to get up from that
@@lucahoganyt4435 Um pretty sure this was in the US of A...so no he wasn't doing any kph...we don't know what that means here
@@tyslink It's like 55mph ish
@@lucahoganyt4435 lol I know...it was a joke bud
@@tyslink Oh ok 😂 Ya I've actually met a lot of Americans that have gotten legitimately mad at me for using the metric system
Only WOT off Trails 🤦🏽♂️
Exactly. Or on a very wide open trail where you can see for at least 5 times your braking distance. But I'm very lucky to live on private property where I can ride, trail systems are so sketchy
Or coming out of corners into long straights
Voici pourquoi les clubs ne devraient jamais surfacer le jour oui il allait vite mais il a su garder son coté du sentier my 2 cents
Grooming hours are posted for a reason...
Slow those bikes down !
Theres a bruise!
Thats why you slow the fuck down on any corner.
So I wonder who won that game of chicken?
Anyone else notice the groomer didn't bother to move to the right at all? Failure to yield.
Move WHERE? There are trees on both sides. Any idea how wide most groomers are? Any idea what that groomer is pulling behind it? Did you see how high the banks are? It's not an agile vehicle like a car. How about not driving your sled like you stole it at 60mph on the trails? I see it ALL winter. Called out for 'accidents' on the trails cuz of "speed & alcohol" being a factor. ALL. THE. TIME. Slow the fuck down. Just cuz your sled does 125mph doesn't mean you should do it on the trails. Save it for a lake, open terrain or cornfield where there are no curves, oncoming sleds on corners, trees or groomers. Blaming the groomer is a we-todd-ed comment.
Now watch the bobble-heads' comments roll in defending their tardedness.
Typical responses of todays generation. Its always someone else's fault, not mine. Groomer was in the wrong. Shake your head, you drive the vehicle you should expect problems to crop up. Not always possible to groom at night. Still lots of bells and whistles on the groomer making it easy to see in daytime. Guy was driving too fast to be able to stop when needed. Hope he didn't damage the groomer.
Spot on!
@@markploof I have been in the groomer, riding shotgun and seen sleds headed towards us at high speed, skidding out of control. I yelled to driver , lift the blade quick, don't want someone crashing through a six thousand dollar window. Or into my face.
Sled was just way outta line. Groomer was not at fault at all, but I did.think this is the main reason they groomed.at night. What would be a reason to stop.them.from grooming at night?
That’s what happens when you go 50 mph over the posted speed limit
What speed limit? Is there one on this trail or area?
@@mobilewintercamp7515 common sense man..
@@wellya9786 I asked about 50 over the speed limit , not common sense. There are state with a general speed limit and and areas posted specifically. If the original comment was not trying to be precise but was just using the mph as an expression, then ok. I was legitimately asking if there is a limit. Everything in life involves taking chances. At any time there can be an oncoming rider, deer , moose or fallen tree. This time it’s a groomer. I’m just interested if there was a speed limit.
@@mobilewintercamp7515 Most ALL trails have a speed limit now. In this case, you can't fix STUPID!!
@@milojanis4901 no they don’t. Vermont only has designated trails with a speed limit. Same in Maine. Most trails in those states are not speed limited.
Leeroy Jenkins on a ski
Precisely y I ride after dark
Me too. I always make sure to turn off my headlights while riding too. That way people can hear my engine better and know to move
@@getchasome6230 - clearly you don't ride. If you did, you'd understand Jake's comment. Riding after sundown provides snowmobilers the ability to see headlights coming at you. Further, you can actually see better than during the day. It's quite amazing, given that your sled's headlight bounces off the snow to even provide more light.
But I digress - I'm certain that physics isn't your forte.
If you had a snowmobile, you'd realize that night-time snowmobiling is both fun and more safe than riding trails during the day.
@@markh9675 ummmm.. I literally said I turn my lights off, AND I was being sarcastic. Meaning I DO understand dudes comment. .. but go off, snowman.
Groomers in my area they dont groom until 10pm, best time to ride is right after sunset when people have their lights on but you also still have some visibility.
The guy on the sled was definitely going a little fast but why groom during the day? Groomers arent aloud out here until 10 pm.
I thought he bought the farm when he hit the groomer.
Groomer supposed turn yellow light on! Its not safety 😕 because former block all width on trails.
How do you know his strobes WEREN'T on?
This is why we groom trails AT NIGHT!!!. Groomer/ club's fault right there... I've been grooming trails for 28years now, never even came close to such a crash...
Bullshit. It's not the groomers fault. It's the idiot
@@bruceritchie7613 You obviously don't snowmobile OR groom trails. We DON'T groom trails during daylight.
@@ronbradshaw7404 Ha. Yes, I sled. What I don't do is race on trails like this guy. Not saying that grooming during the day is the best idea but it's absolutely not the groomers fault.
What club do you run the groomer for? Have snowmobiled in California, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana and have passed groomers during the day. So if you got in a head on during the night, I guess it's going to be 100% the groomers fault? Not because the dumb ass snowmobiler was riding way above his or her abilities LOL. Bet you the law and insurance company sided with the groomer and NOT the idiot on the sled.
That's one reason they have to groom during the day. Idiots like this make groomers quit and we cant get enough groomer volunteers.
Hint: Groomer > snowmobile
Only enough room for the groomer wtf!!
Shitty ass trail system
Groomers should only operate at night ! See lots of lights ahead ? Slow the F down quick ! No surprises 🤙🏽
Did you not see his comments? They have to groom twenty four hours a day to get it done.to much snow, miles to groom.
@@russrecker5344 yes I did. Just said my piece to hear an ass hat like you to foolishly respond. Good job ! You won !! Lmao
Too much speed. Get ya everytime! Hate to say. Serves ya right. Riders like you ruin the sport like it's a race or some shit. Save the speed for the track.
