Double Consist on Amtrak's Maple Leaf at Riverdale (6/24/22)

I happened to be at Riverdale station a few days ago and encountered this thing. I don't have any info on why they had two sets of cars, but if I were to guess, I'd say repositioning. Enjoy.

64-23 died in Toronto on the 23rd, and 64-24 rescued it and doubled with it to Albany where they took 121 and 92 off and put what looks to be 708 on
