Always enjoyable. Admittedly I mute the music audio portions of the program ; I would say it would be more than helpful if you say why you choose the obstacles you did and why you placed them where you did and why you set your squads up the way you do in your videos since understanding the important set-up is glossed over in these types of gameplay vids by everyone who uploads them. Especially for new players. The only real info I've heard in general terms is a couple specific vids on the topic and Paul Heaver's Turn Zero articles for FFG in which he says he can win before the game starts is how important understanding it is and also what you're flying against ie. a TIE swarm informs your decision making; MTFBWY
Very excellent video and a great game to watch. I love how tidy you kept the cards and maneuvers. It made it very easy to follow the action. Kudos on your spot on handling of bumps! Oh and excellent editing to fast forward in all the right places.
A few questions, how did you get that nice bright glow on the bases and dials? Are those an after market product? How did you make those nice clear monochrome color markers to tie the ships the cards?
Not sure about the dials but it looks like the bases might just be painted, though putting an LED under the base is something that people do im not seeing actual light coming off from them. There are aftermarket kits to do this, but you can do it cheaper if you have the parts laying around and make one yourself. All it takes is an LED, a resistor, a battery, and preferably a button or switch to turn it on and off. Heres an etsy store that sells LED kits (www.etsy.com/listing/457854652/star-wars-x-wing-miniatures-ship-base?ref=shop_home_feat_1) and im sure you can find more if you do a search for X-wing LED bases.

Probably wasn't really an option at the time you guys made this but for the A-Wing swarm try dropping the autothrusters and adaptability and sticking snap shot in.... it's pure EVIL >:D

Nice Video. But I noticed that you made a huge mistake at 16:16 and18:13. All the ships have the same skill level because of the A-wings adaptability. Therefore when the A-wing should be destroyed it must be removed after it has fired because it has the same pilot skill as the ship that destroyed it.

next time, i am gonna add all the time together of you rolling dice before you release them. i am pretty sure i will get a few minutes worth. one roll was a full 7 seconds of shaking the dice before you released them.
At 10:15, when the blue A Wing shoot on the purple Tie, the A Wing is stuck on a obstacle. does he can shoot anyway ?

[30:08] No, I didn't forget to use Autothrusters! Torben rolled two hits, but the green A-Wing only need one hit to be destroyed. That's why I haven't used Autothrusters.
Why not get rid of those Adaptabilities for trick shot?
With Adaptability, both squad lists have an equal pilot skill.
Yeah I get that, but it only pays off if you win the initiative roll, which you didnt otherwise it's useless Maybe it's worth the gamble I don't know. But trick shot I would think would be slightly more beneficial considering how much debris you were fighting around. Anyway, Nice game and video, this is my first of yours I've seen, I'll check out some more. 👍

I think they should pull green dice out of the game bcs they are useless. 5 green, 0 evade results...I hate luck based games...
