    OMG Tree, what an awesome video, I love it. Kinda wish I still lived in England to attend. At 64 it's never too late. What a great opportunity.
    You always bring the best to us. Thanks so much.

    This is AMAZING! I don’t think we have anything close to this in the United States. We have proper education resources, but they cost a fortune. And I do mean a fortune. As for all of these other features? Nope. So jealous.

      +Rosalind Hamilton Aw......hello Rosalind, maybe they have got something like it near you. I think all big manufacturing companies should offer short course to train people in some of the aspects of what they do. It's not only forward thinking of the company in terms of recruiting good staff but offers a service to the community and in these days of people wanting to learn new crafts, I'm sure they'd get loads of people. I'm so glad that you like coming on these little trips with me. I've got some really good ones lined up! See you again soon..... Tree X

    I love the dress you're wearing! Did you make it? The local technical school here used to have a sewing/tailoring courses many many years ago. Now that I'm an adult and have found that I absolutely love sewing, I've looked into taking classes at the school just to find out that they no longer offer the courses. So that's why I'm here! Learning from my many professors on the internet! Thank you!

      mishavu Hello. First of all can I apologise because I thought I had already replied to this but sometimes things go a bit crazy on YT. Yes I made my dress using the fabric from the 'Amazing Dice and Gabbana video report'. So glad you liked it and glad you are able to learn sewing from online. Have fun, I upload on Fridays and have a good one this Friday. Tree X

    I SO wish I lived in London and go to that Academy and learn properly. I learn from the internet and make so many mistakes all the time. It's so frustrating. There's nothing here where I am and no one that knows how to sew more than pillow cases. I REALLY need something like this academy!! I'm so jealous and sad!

    Hi Tree, I love all your videos. Great to see the fashion being made in England and that there's so much offered by the company(Fashion Capital). Saw the scuba fabric and would love you to demonstrate something with it. I have bought several pieces and have seen that it's easy to sew. I wonder is it suitable for summer? It seems to me to be rather thick for summer (here in Australia I've seen lots in the shops that are sleeveless). I'm pondering also whether to sew hems or just cut and leave the edges raw so there's less bulk.

    • @StitchlessTV
      @StitchlessTV  7 років тому

      +Rosie Hull For me, unless it was sleeveless and open at front, I would struggle for summer. Possibly ok for a skirt. It is a great fabric to work with though cos you don't need to do much to get a great look! If you hem tgen try to use the blind hem foot, like how I show in Part 2 of The Cape tutorial. Or sometimes, if you are careful you can get away with a regular foot and just zig zag stitch...(see in the video) Otherwise, I do like the raw hem look. Test out with a stretch or ballpoint needle 1st though. I would like to do a neoprene or scuba tutorial. Thankyou so much for watching, Tree x

    • @roberttaylor9767
      @roberttaylor9767 7 років тому +1

      Yes scuba is very easy fabric to deal with and it doesn't crease also it's easy to lay when cutting

    • @rosiehull4057
      @rosiehull4057 7 років тому +1

      Thanks Robert. I think it would be easy to sew. Still haven't started on it. I'm considering a jacket (maybe for coolish days) so I guess I'll be facing and hemming it. I'm not at all as prolific as Tree as I dither about with deciding on details like should I hem it or should I cut the bottom where the hem would be. It's coming up to autumn so I'll try to get it underway. Thanks again.

    • @StitchlessTV
      @StitchlessTV  7 років тому

    Wow what a place and what a great work ethos that woman has she is obviously passionate about her career. We need to bring manufacturing of all sorts back to Australia as well "The Lucky Country" is looking down the barrel at the moment, so sad to see. Everything is disappearing over to China ! including our farms. !!
