This is the best video we have seen of the Jetski Tour (we did this last December and again on our March run, and have this reserved on our next run later this year)… well done, we love your videos! 👍 😎
Awesome video! We’re headed there in less than 2 weeks. Just curious, do they let you bring anything with you on the jet ski. I know you had your camera but do they let you bring a water bottle, etc?
I believe there’s enough room in the hatch for a water bottle, but that would be about it. The lockers are right there and the ride itself is about an hour. :)
Thanks so much! We used the GoPro 10 for this video and it was just on a selfie stick. We do have straps for the wrist, chest and helmet mounts for it as well, but Chris just held it on a selfie stick and drove with one hand on this excursion (I don’t recommend doing that though) lol
At the beginning of the video, it says at Shore Excursion Hut #25. We'll be doing this excursion April 2024 and I can't find where the meeting place is from where we get off the ship. Can you tell me how to get to Shore Excursion Hut #25?
They will give you a map of the island. At the end of the pier, turn left and walk across the bridge towards chill island. Just keep following the path until you see the sign for water sports. It’s a 10 min walk. If you prefer to take the tram, just hop on and get off at the stop for chill island and the jet skis are right there. It’s super easy and there are plenty of crew members that can point you in the right direction. Have a great time!!
How strict is this excursion with consuming alcohol beforehand? Like lets say for example I have 1 or 2 beers prior to it. Do they check? Or is it purely based off if your quite clearly over the limit?
@@SiegleMediaThat’s great, we have booked Hideaway Beach prior to our Jet Skis and would like to relax with a few drinks beforehand. Just didn’t want them checking our wristbands to see if we had been drinking 😅
My suggestion would be to book an earlier jet ski tour. Hideaway beach is pretty slow going when it first opens. Go jet skiing and then head to the beach club.
I know you 2 were each driving your own jet ski, but if you did share 1 jet ski, do you know if you'd be allowed to switch back and forth between who's the driver and who's the passenger?
I believe you can as long as you both sign the waiver and provide your divers license at check in. Also, you’d need to ask for 2 sets of handles to attach to both life jackets. I’m not 100% they allow it here, but on our jet ski tour at St Kitts, our teens switched half way.
@@SiegleMedia Wait, you need to bring your driver license to ride? Did you mean that? I'll be on CocoCay soon. But never heard of that. I thought you can just say your cabin # and sign paper. I don't want to bring anything with me and loose it.
@@Vlad2277 yes, I did mean to say that but should note I only needed to bring it for my teens, not for us. I believe it’s under 21, but it should state in the app or you can ask at the shore excursion desk. We put our things in the free locker right there so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Otherwise, yes you just give your room number and sign the waiver. :)
@@SiegleMedia Thanks. Interesting, I've just checked in the app and officially, it says driver's license required... Is there a place in the Jetski to store anything? Water? Towels, etc.?
I’m not sure what the average age is for this tour, but I don’t believe there is a max age restriction. If seniors over 65 enjoy water sports and don’t have any health or issues with their joints, I’d say go for it!
No, she was in the air and was holding onto the handlebars. Nobody fell off and the jet ski didn’t take on water. The water was rough that day! Still very much recommend this excursion.
It was about an hour and a half total. One hour was on the jet ski, about 30 minutes for instructions, signing waivers and getting life jackets on. You can easily do jet ski in the morning, grab lunch at the snack shack and hang at the beach a bit and then do something else. We were just there last week and will have more excursions on here soon. 😎
Can a minor child be the passenger? Even as the adult, I think I would be scared of this, but yet I'm still curious to try...I'm wondering if I could specially request to be LAST since I would definitely plan to go the slowest! How much was it (I'm sure it will vary per season, but just an idea)
Yes, children 10 and up can be passengers. Combined weight of passenger and driver can’t be over 375 lbs. Driver needs to be minimum of 16yrs old and have drivers license and speak English. Two people on our tour had to be removed from the tour as they didn’t understand the instructions. You absolutely can request to go last, and if I did it again I would prefer the back of the line. Lol. The cost for us was $109 for drivers but I’ve seen it slightly lower. Passengers are usually $25-$35.
@@SiegleMedia Wow thanks for such a quick and helpful reply! I never even thought about the weight limit, we might actually be just over the limit :( But who knows maybe i will lose a little by then!
@@dreawint Glad I could help! We have several other fun CocoCay videos on our channel. I don’t recall a scale, and I did see adult passengers riding, so should be okay… but I read through the requirements before I replied and noticed it listed. Whatever you decide on the island, enjoy! :)

Thank you so much! We look forward to doing this again too. It really is a great time!
Thank you for such an informative video. The blue shades of water look amazing.
Thanks for watching! It really is beautiful!
We absolutely loved this tour!

It really was! :)
Ty for this. My boys love jet skis so will probably get this for them. About how long were you out there for?
We were on the jet ski about an hour. It really was a great time!
Thanks for this great video! My family will be cruising in December. Do you know if this particular excursion tends to sell out quickly?
Yes, it sold out on all of our trips to Cococay this year. If you see it available, book it!! 😎
Great video! Would y’all recommend this tour to someone who has never driven a jet ski?
Yes! This was only my second time. It is very easy to operate and the guides are awesome! They give a demonstration before you start!
Thanks!
I enjoyed your video, the stops you talk about , are they just in the water, our do you go on the other side od the island ?
Thank you! All of the stops are just in the water. We circled around the island but didn’t get off the jet skis.
Would this be okay for someone that usually gets motion sickness
I’m not too sure as I’m not affected by motion sickness. It’s similar to riding in a boat and lots of bouncing going over the water.
Hi nice vid. Wondering what gopro and mount you are using as I would like to start recording our family adventures. Thanks!

Do very many seniors (over 65) go on the Jetski Tour?

How long was this? Does it cost extra?
It was about an hour ride and it was around $100 pp. Sometimes they have it on sale in the cruise planner, especially on Black Friday! :)
I'm new friend to support you stay connected
Thank you so much!
So I will ask them to go ahead and make me a 10 right off the bat. 😂
😂😂😂
Is a driver’s license required ? , I don’t have one 😢 only ID card
You would need to provide your drivers license if you are between 16-20 years old and sign a waiver. Over 21 you just sign a waiver.
Oh wow ! That’s great than ! Thanks for the response back ☺️👏🏼
😎🥰😎
Do we have to know swimming?
No, you wear a life jacket and don’t get off the jet ski unless you fall off or want to take a quick dip in the water.
