(Includes Poland, Australia, Persia, and Macedon DLCs) Spartan-Persian-Macedonian Alliance: Cyrus likes leaders that declare surprise wars and Gorgo and Alexander both like warmongers. Anglo-American Alliance: If Theodore Roosevelt and Victoria wind up on the same continent, the two can be expected to co-exist peacefully. Polish-Arabian/Spanish Alliance: Jadwiga likes civs with high faith and Saladin/Phillip II are most likely to build faith for their sacred Religions. Sumerian-Australian Alliance: John Curtin wants to establish Defensive Pacts with his allies and Gilgamesh will take a liking to Australia should Curtin become his friend. Russian-Roman Alliance: Russia's ability "Mother Russia" allows it to grab extra territory when founding new cities. You can imagine how happy this makes Trajan. Roman-Polish/Australian Alliance: Jadwiga/John Curtin have the ability to grab extra territory via culture bombing. Trajan of course will take liking to Poland/Australia. Persia VS Scythia: Cyrus and Tomyris are polar opposites of each other regarding their reactions to Surprise Wars. Fits considering that they were historical enemies. Poland VS Russia: As Jadwiga and Peter focus on different areas (Faith for Jadwiga and Science/Culture for Peter), the two will fail to understand each other's approach. China VS Poland/Australia: As mentioned before, Jadwiga/John Curtin can use Culture Bombs. This means they can also steal unfinished Wonders. You can imagine how much this upsets Qin. Germany VS Australia: Like I've mentioned in my previous reply, Frederick Barbarossa wants to conquer City-States. This will put him at odds with Curtin should he succeed to add them to his empire. India VS Macedon: See India VS Sparta. Poland VS Kongo: As Mvemba is unable to build Holy Sites, consequently crippling his ability to build up Faith, Jadwiga will judge Mvemba based on this disability. Poland/Australia VS Aztec: As mentioned before, Jadwiga and Curtin can grab extra tiles via Culture Bombs. This will earn Monty's wrath should those tiles happen to have Luxuries he does not have yet.
(Includes Poland, Australia, Persia, and Macedon DLCs) German-Macedonian Alliance: As Frederick wants to add City-States to his empire, Alexander will be glad to let him do so. American-Polish Alliance: As Theodore needs Faith for his National Parks, he will have a chance of winning over Jadwiga. Egyptian-Japanese Alliance: Cleopatra values militarism highly and Japan's militaristic tendencies will impress her. Kongo/Russia VS Brazil: Mvemba and Peter's bonuses towards Great People will mean they will clash with Pedro from time to time. Kongo VS Japan: As mentioned in Kongo VS Poland, Mvemba is unable to build Holy Sites. Consequently, this will also mean Hojo will judge him for this disability. Sumeria/Arabia/America VS Macedon: Alexander's warmongering tendencies means he's likely to declare war on the nearest civ. This will irk Gilgamesh/Saladin/Roosevelt should the attacked civ be his friend/a follower of his religion/on his continent. Germany VS Arabia: Yet again, Frederick wants to add city-states to his empire. This will put him at odds with Saladin if the City-State happens to be a follower of his religion.

It seems that Gandhi's negative reaction occurs whenever you declare war on anyone. Spartan-Persian-Macedonian Alliance: Cyrus likes leaders that declare surprise wars and Gorgo and Alexander both like warmongers.
(Includes Poland, Australia, Persia, and Macedon DLCs)
German-Macedonian Alliance: As Frederick wants to add City-States to his empire, Alexander will be glad to let him do so.
This will put him at odds with Saladin if the City-State happens to be a follower of his religion.
kirby65422 I don’t feel Japan vs Kongo really is one as Kongo makes a large amount of culture and Japan likes culture and faith
I hate cleopatra.
Denounces me for no reason
Thats why she is defeated and her city renamed We hate the queen
Mis Cleaopathra looking at some... interasting parts... If ya now what i mean ;)
she fucked rulers for diplomatic favor
I'm a Box Car
I’m in tears, because it’s true! X’D
Well i mean It IS Cleopatra we're talking here
Oh shit I just realized in the weak military part, she looks down, and then places her hand on her hip. Now I want to wash my eyes out with bleach and Windex.
I look at this and realize, "Jesus Christ, my grammar was fucking horrible."
¡Blasfemaís! La venganza de Dios caerá sobre vuestra cabeza...
Love that they clearly are using an older version of Spanish which is era appropriate to him..
@@troodon1096 He Speaks Castilian Which Comes From Castille That's The Spanish That People In Spain Speak

You have a freaking nuke hidden in your capital Gandhi...
HunterTheFirst Slayer, must be a bug that won't be fixed until he nukes you...
In 4000 bc
"Is it a nuke on our radars or are you just so happy to see me?"
0:57 That's a reference to Ganhdi's nukes if I ever saw one!
5:12... the english subtitles are extremely wrong lol...
He says: "We are a nation of Faith, and your favor to our devotion, honors you.."
3:59 Scouts count as espionages
So does sending delegations as that grants you increased diplomatic access.
Immagine having Alexander and Gorgo with Gandhi and Roosevelt in the same game, also using Pericles with Frederick as your neighbour. Cit. Pericles and Frederick have practically the same agenda
I love how the comments are arranged in order with the leaders, its so satifying to read the next comment and see it come up without waiting
It seems that Gandhi's negative reaction occurs whenever you declare war on anyone. Even if your war is one of the 3 Casus Belli with *no warmonger penalty* the game will give you Gandhi's negative reaction. Just the simple act of declaring war is enough, even if it is absolutely justified, or against a City State.
Uhhh... I find derpish Gilgamesh at 0:14 oddly hilarious
Moctezuma is such an envy guy
- 00:57:
"Having a weapon is very different from actually using it"
Deterrence only works if one is properly trained in how to use said weapon.
This happened yesterday:
*meet Ghandi*
Ghandi: "Having a weapo-"
*declares war because my free city joins him*
Ghandi: :(
Cleo: *notices my shitty 4 units* >:(
*Levies CS units*
Cleo: :3
Ghandi: >:C
It was a true up and down of agenda cutscenes in like 10 turns
Bully for you?
Headsprouter thx
"Bully" is a phrase that was only really used in Teddy's time. It means like "cool" "rad" "awesome" "tubular" "sweet"
Yeah, like yippy skippy, fantastic, hip hip heray, I'm full of gas bubbles now, I'm tickled to shit...
Yukio Shinmon it means good for you
"I'm tickled to shit" HAHAHA imma use this thanks
Barzil: wants you to compete for great people
Brazil when you win great people: surprised pikachu face
I guess he wants you to produce a lot of great people so that they can *come to Brazil*
"having a weapon. is actually different from using it. allow me to demonstrate."
*proceeds to unload his entire nuclear arsenal, damning the world to hell*
Gandhi: "Having a weapon is very different from actually using it." (Hides nuke stockpile...)
Harald: your sees are unprotected, all too easy to raid.
Me: well, I'd like to see you try to raid the only coastal city I have that has 10 jet bombers in range.
the fact he is a Viking raider always makes me feel like that might be a veiled threat
I find it weird that Kongo wants you to spread your religion to them, as if that would go well for them...
Funny how Cleopatra doesn't like me cuz my army is just 3 units of GIANT DEATH ROBOTS.
5:12 Actual Translation: We're a faithful nation, it's honorable your help to our devotion.
Maybe that's not the best translation but as you can guess Ensligh's not my mother tongue.
When Gandhi speaks Indian, he either meet you or you fucked up.
HCN
He speaks hindi. There is no language called indian. There's hundreds of languages in india
I've never seen Gilgamesh's agenda cutscenes because the jackass always declares war on me only for me to stomp him into the ground.
4:02
- *'You know, I'm something of a spy myself'*
2:46 Harald being a bro & giving you good advice.
Harold bad agenda actually helped me notice my navy was way to weak and that was why the Barbarians were raiding my sea trade routes. So thanks Harold, you helped win my game :)
2:46 When Norway is in the game and you have one coastal city, this will pop up every turn.
Trajan fucking declares war on me for not having a big civ everytime.
I like the leaders who congratulate you for being stronger/better than them at something.
So, you speak Spanish and English, here the ones you will or kinda understand:
0:51
1:07
1:21
1:38
3:35
3:54
5:11
1:38 is Portuguese
I think I will be friends with Cleopatra, Rossevelt, Victoria, Peter and Tokimune. Their agendas suits my playing style.
The translation kinda omits that Catherine invites your spies to, erm, meet her Flying Squadron.
Gandhi: If you are so bloodthirsty, maybe it is better to put an end to your leadership
*Gandhi knowing how to put an end to your leadership as well*
*activate the nukes*
I had just finished a war with Teddy and then he thanked me for keeping the peace, ok thanks teddy, just disregard the fact the you have 2 cities left.
1:40 - As Brazilian, I fell appalled by the civ agenda. Pratically, Brazil turns the life of great people a hell, we thirve on mediocrity and contempt. If a Brazilian is due to gretness, he must emigrate, otherwise he will be pushed into madness here. In 2023 the country reached rock bottom on it.
Me: *is always friend with gorgo bcs I often conquer at least one empire in early game*
Also me: *tries playing China and being a bit less agressive*
Gorgo: I dont want to play with you anymore
As a brazilian let me tell ya that
Pedro voice has been the same no matter what documentary you see
1:00 If you see this cutscene, Gandhi will nuke you. His meme is programmed to activate on player warmongers.
Early game with France be like
France: You dont use spies, I hate you!
Me: What's a spy?
France: idk
I love how a Brazilian emperor who lived in XIX century is a "nuclear adorer". In fact we had just 1 politician (he never got more than 3% voted) who actually had Nuclear program as his main proposal, Doctor Eneas Carneiro.
He had only 15s in TV and shouted "MY NAME IS ENEAS!". He was a very intelligent man.
Gahndi is more muscular than me when he’s supposed to be very thin
I've always been good with Catherine. I just send envoys to the other civs and she's happy about it.
the norse sound like they are actually giving advice instead of roasting you
Catherine will glitch and like you in the ancient and classical eras, I think it is just me
I love Alexander's unique cutscene when you go into war with another country. He's so nice :))) and kinda cute tbh
This is PERFECT for my current interests
At 5:13 Felipe didn't say that, he actually said: "We are a Nation of Faith, and your favor to our devotion honor us". It's far less aggresive than the subtitles
if only Pedro knew what brazil would've become...
Harald Disapproves | Two Missile Cruiser Armadas
Harald Approves | Thirty Triremes
Harrald ''He values quantity''
I had 1 galley and called my navy strong
I remember when I was in a game with cleopatra I had ten units on her border and she had three and she showed her denouncing talk
Can’t speak for any other languages but what Qin Shi Huang said in Chinese is completely different from what appears in the English subtitles... or even in Chinese subtitles when I played it
I believe most of the subtitles just focus on giving an explanation of what is said, instead of a direct translation.
The viking one is way too polite
