IDK about you but I always say I need a solo fishing trip but when I do go alone all I think about is how I wish I would've brought the kids. Lol. I get more enjoyment watching them catch fish, but I get snagged alot less when I'm alone. Great video. I love catching and eating.

The end was awesome....Real life action with a bad cast. That makes it totally real. We all can relate to that. Reminds me of fishing on the New River as a kid and teenager. Many a catfish with rod and reel along with a few trotlines for fish frys.
When my son was about 5 we went fishing with the wife. I'm trying lures on and the wife asks why I keep buying more lures. Just then the boy walks back and says I lost another one. I gave him one I just tied and started to put a new one on when my wife said oh, I know why.
@@chuckstith838 I can totally relate. I have two daughters that fish with me now. They beat the boatdocks to death. I hear wack and each lure has a name and they say such and such has a headache now......lol
I can eat spring time catfish everyday.
I'm jealous of the fileting skills. I've never learned how to do it like that, even after watching a boat load of videos. Mine look like I fileted them with a chainsaw.
Lol Mine normally do to because I’m terrible at sharpening fillet knifes. A guy sent me the one in the video and it is crazy sharp. Thanks for watching

I have watch a lot of your earlier videos when you have Landon along, and some of your comments just crack me up. One that I like is when you catch a big cat, you say" Now I get to see what it is like when Landon lands a big fish ", and a lot of other remarks. Landon is certainly a boy to be proud of, and some day, he will be taking his old Dad fishing, in his own boat, and slaying those monster cats. Really enjoy your videos. God bless you, and Landon. Nice ones , we use chub minnows wormed on here in the Greene County Indiana area . Them little ones are the best.
Thumbs up to ya I keep plenty of vacuum packed fish in my freezer just for those occasions. I'm going to start double hooking my line I think your right about that scent flowing.

Hagen you should be able to sell a lot of trips at this place ,, this trip is the ones I enjoy watching the most , also yes I love to catch flatnoggins the most but there is nothing like a small river float trip.
I really enjoyed this trip. Although the fishing isn’t good in that area the scenery makes up for it and I enjoy catching those small fish on light tackle. Thank you for watching.
Yes I have one of those rivers here in NC it’s called the Yadkin River , and it is full of channels and big flat heads , and is my favorite fishing hole
