Love this discussion. Almost makes me root for Nebraska in a way… up until the Buffs play them. But College football needs Colorado and Nebraska and other regions of the country. ESPN shill’s for the SEC (conference they own the rights too) for twenty years and created bubble. College football is better when the balance of power bounces around the country. Nebraska owned the 90’s but the Buffs were anywhere from the 2nd best team to anywhere in the top 10 to one magical year of being the best. College football needs Buffs and Huskers back. Go Buffs! This game is gonna be one of the best and I suspect in the top 5 most viewed regular season college football games.
If Dylan lives up the hype, this game will be a battle. And I absolutely agree, both coaches talk about their expectation to make championship runs, hopefully they're right (and hopefully they stick around)! It would be incredible to see us both return to our rightful place in college football, especially if we're meeting in the playoffs... GBR
Steven’s awesome, good segment Brian. I think CU wins in a close one all the way until the last quarter or 1/2 of the 4th. Ends in a 10-17 point CU win
Nebraska is currently favored by 6.5 points against CU in Lincoln. Most national experts have Nebraska winning. If Nebraska can score points and minimize turnovers, NU should win. If they can not move the ball, CU will blow them out. This is one of the games I am looking forward to as a college football fan.
NU 34 CU 21💯 NU dominates and controls both lines of scrimmage. CU gets 2 TD in garbage time against our back ups to make it look closer than it was. GBR!! Bring it puffs
Sip has the best show covering Nebraska football! Award winning Steven Sipple, Jake Sorenson, and Bill Busch! Listen to Early Break, you'll like it, fan or not. Can't wait for this game, and appreciate the team journalists getting together for exchange. GBR
NU offense improves a lot this year compared to last year. Their defense picks up where it left off with quite a few returning starters giving up very few points. CU (later) has a revolving door of players and coaches from last year with nothing to build off of. NU - 45 CU - 10
@@Hunter-dj9ld sure bro, keep telling yourself that, Travis will break his will with one or two INT’s bro, yall keep talking about Nebraska’s mediocre returning staters on D but not CU’s huge offseason pickups on D, 49-10 CU
I genuinely believe CU convincingly beats Nebraska in a tough, hard fought away game. I think Dylan Raiola has his worst game of the season against us. CU defense gets at least 4 sacks and a pick against Raiola in week 2
NU 34 CU 21 Nothing tough about the puffs💯 NU will control both lines of scrimmage and the entire game. In Lincoln at night...Seriously CU 11 new oline players basically all new coaches against one of the best defensive fronts in college football. If you thought Mr Sanders had it rough last year he's going to be running for his life again all year I mean they didn't even play defense in the PAC. Good luck puffs going to be a very long game and year
@@alexlehning5062 you couldn’t even beat us last year when more than half the team was made of FCS & JUCO guys that got put together in under 2 months. Let’s be serious
@MarvelousJP and you guys barely beat us with a qb who had 4 turnovers and a team that consisted of mostly freshmen. So the same could be said just in reverse.
They couldn’t dominate last year when we were weak at every position outside of QB & WR. CU has gotten exponentially better & deeper at every single position
@@JamesWilliams-nb6zc you guys got obliterated last year by a team that was put together in 1.5 months. An inexperienced and undersized D-line, a lackluster undersized O-line, minimal rb production, weak LB, Travis was the only good corner we had. Last years starters wouldn’t even crack the rotation this year. CU didn’t even have a legit 2-deep last year. The corn is getting embarrassed at home week 2 in a devastating loss
Always nice to see a CU columnist who can talk like a normal, logical person 🤣 Nice interview Brian.

If Nebraska had CU’s schedule what would their record be?

How can you not love Sip
IDC what other schools is saying or doing if what coach prime is building an nfl style like it is over CU WILL DOMINATE.
Sip is everywhere
We better not overlook this Nebraska team. They are a quarterback away from competing at a high level.
NU offense improves a lot this year compared to last year. Their defense picks up where it left off with quite a few returning starters giving up very few points.
CU (later) has a revolving door of players and coaches from last year with nothing to build off of.
NU - 45
CU - 10
This might be both programs biggest game of the year
Once again this game is going to come down to QB play. CU 52-NU16.
yeah, I’m more around this range too
I don’t see Nebraska’s QB playing being anywhere near as bad last year so I’d say the game is more likely then not going to be close.

I think Nebraska is one year away from being pretty good, but starting a true freshman in the B10 will be devastating
You know what is devastating? Starting a guy that can’t catch a snap. They will be much improved.
I got CU but the game will be closer. Probably be like 28-17
