He doesn`t even know how many businesses he owns. Must be very easy to rip him off then.. Me: You didnt own that gold mine at all... That was mine all along, sorry... Frank Buyanga: I don`remember. It was probably yours. Me: That diamond ring and the gold watch you`re wearing? Frank Buyanga: Yes? Me: Remember those are mine, and that you promised to give them back to me?? Frank Buyanga: Oh, yeah sure. Me: Good boy. Now let`s talk about your house, and that car you are driving. Remember that i bought them? Frank Buyanga: Oh, yeah. Here are the keys, take it.

It’s ALWAYS amazing when you actually see arrogant dodgy “businessmen” talking from their alternative reality. But then again, Africa
has got so many of these thieves because it doesn’t have robust police & judiciary systems. Corruption allows thieves to succeed in Africa while educated honest people live humbling lives!!!!!

Thank God u have tackled on that issue. In most cases most of the percentage in Africa are blinded n crowded by the foreign policy n foreign countries. that's great Frank. I can't express a lot as of now hut Africans should take responsibilities and care of our continent not being driven indirectly, which not of us are blinded into. Ignatius.km ....uganda.

I think that the way the young entrepreneur deals with the tea drinking shows that he is kind of nervous. However, I don't know why he is nervous when, overall, he is trying to come across as being cocky, confident, and competent. At some point, the young business man briefly talked sense when he referred to the fact that in Africa many journalists and people are pre-occupied with non-issues and mischievous undermining of people. He also made a good point about the fact that African wealth is in the ground and that many Africans are ignorant about that. I also like his point about how Africans are largely price takers from others about the resources that they have and what they produce and offer to the world such as gold in South Africa even when they shouldn’t be in that position. The journalist asked the young business man a good question about what good message he has for young and upcoming African entrepreneurs. However, the journalist failed to ask the young entrepreneur how he got started in business and what makes him a good and successful business man. The young business man did not adequately address that issue, and instead focused on the cocky claim that he used to provide business advisement to his parents beginning at age 12. His cockiness lies in the fact that he focused on the advisement part instead of emphasizing that he learned at a young age from his parents to be an entrepreneur.

Your analysis is good you did pay attention to what he was saying although you did all that I am definitely going to point out that you come across as someone who blames Africans for being ignorant which is complete distorted perception. Some African leaders are naive to the dangers that the Chinese investor from the Chinese government owner firms pose and Xi encouraged them to use Chinese and right everything in Chinese. A hundred year contract is slavery and colonization in one. This guy is saying a lot of nothing but bragging and not really answering the question he is asked. Attacking the media is a diversion and he reminds me of Philip Chiyangwa braggadocio and never share any information fairly and has no transparency. I barely know him but I don't have to see crap because I can smell it. The things he is accused of are serious violations. Listen to Elon Mask, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Walton's, Tim Cook and our very own Clive Masiiwa and note the difference in detail provision, directness, clarity, informative and they use business economic and scientific terms to stress their points. Encourage youths and entrepreneurs to do right and walk a straight line. Let us call a spade a spade. I wish him well and success, but I think if he doesn't change his unscrupulous appearances he will soon find himself on the other side of the fence.

The man is the very definition of the word sociopath. But, he indeed understand the nature of the African. The African thinks by his stomach. I too have understood this working in Ghana. Apparently, it is nearly a continental thing.
No wonder the world has moved on, while Africa... lets not even go there.
India gains independence in 1947, gets divided by the Brits, goes to war right out of the gates. 1957, Ghana gains independence; Britain's favourite. Always receiving gifts. India chooses cheap weapons from USSR, USA thinks of this as aggression so it chooses Pakistan as its partner, and thus India is trapped with Socialism, which absolutely blocks economic growth. Meanwhile, Ghana never had any issues, was always supported by the west, has more resources than all of South Asia combined while being less than 10th of the size.
Nearly the same amount of time given to both of us. We had it infinitely worse, but look at India and look at Ghana. All because the black man thinks with his stomach. You cannot help him, I doubt if even god can....

Come on🤷🏽‍♀️, even Warren Buffet knows how many business subsidiaries he’s got. This guy is a bad example to small entrepreneurs, the number one rule of being an entrepreneur is to know your numbers, your money, you cannot be that guy who’s proud for not knowing his money.

Oh he is full of himself, I even expected to find ideas here but actually I am out of this please assist me to find the right Africans who can help inexperienced entrepreneurs like me I feel so sorry for him not I despise him he settles me off with his stance that he squeaks with lots of gratification and kind of pretentious yet I seem to like him. No matter where he find out this he need to change the whole of him, personality matters to be a role model. He can't really know how many businesses he owns seriously, sorry for him and I am sure he is successful but he is full of himself and lagged most of his answers. We care for you but it's so awful that it is hard to learn from you, he made me feel mystify.

Mr. Buyanga had a lot of valid points but the interview just got interesting to me by around 12:00 into it. I subscribe to all channel related to business and in particular business in Africa; however, I don't feel like I had gotten any insight on this man activity other than seeing that he may be very wealthy and connected.
Now I'm actually disappointed at CNBC AFRICA for such as sub par interview. The whole thing looked extremely staged and the interviewer looked shy and almost scared to me.
Bottom line this interview did not look professional enough to me as a new African entrepreneur making his mark.
You can and have done better cnbcafrica.
