Hmm house party is a little dramatic since it was just my regular house roommates ( there are three of the, and they are boys so they’re loud) and they invited a couple of our very close friends over. Either way, I didn’t like the idea of it either since I’m very anxious during the pandemic. Luckily, it’s been over 100 days since this get together and everyone is perfectly fine. But I do see where your anxieties come from since I, too, tend to be very very anxious during this time. And if I lived alone I would gladly never have anyone over, but unfortunately I do not :/

I had the same problem with the audiobook for We Hunt the Flame, I enjoyed the beginning and wanted to keep reading but then it hard to finish because I kept on getting distracted by the end. But otherwise, I did think it was good but I didn’t connect to the characters or the world. So you are not alone, I’m so glad you had these thoughts as well!

I felt the same way! And the whole love interest at the beginning with what happened with that threw me. There was no build up and it was like BAM! That’s over with. Lol so weird and rushed.
