  • 13 years ago Lisa Leuschner Andersen and I got married. We sang this Little Milton classic at our wedding party, it meant a lot to us then, it means even more now.
So, to reflect that... I kinda beefed up the original wedding version we did of this tune! With some help from originally Johnny Ace and Jimmy Mulleniux, now also from Jerry Jemmott, Lorenzo Farrell, D'mar MusicOnline, Frankie Ramos, Jim Pugh, Marcel Smith, James Morgan Dwayne Morgan Walter Morgan John Blues Boyd Quique Gómez Jeff W. Leuschner Will Leuschner Rick Estrin Eve Whittaker Kenneth Whittaker El Bowman John Halbleib Jack Sanford
My favorite part of every day is still the time I spend with Lisa, and she makes me feel better than anything else in the world. I love you more every day, baby 🙂

Oh yes, that woman can SING!! You two are great together- Happy Anniversary, and wishing you all the best for the times to come!
p.s. @ 0:14 is that Johnny Ace on the Fender bass?
p.p.s. (edit) OK, I just read the description; it is. Way back in 1989 or 90, a couple buddies and me drove down nonstop from Vancouver, BC for the SF Blues festival- we ended up one night at a place called Grant and Green's and caught Johnny Nitro and the Doorslammers, with none other than Johnny Ace on the Fender bass. I remember he did a killer version of Bobby Bland's "Don't Cry No More"...I'd not seen Johnny Ace or Johnny Nitro, or heard that tune even, before that, but it stuck with me big time. I've since seen him in a video with Otis Rush in England- I recognized that low-slung bass stance right away! A great, great player. I'm wondering if he is still with us?
