@@andrewbas The Menu/High score music, cave music, and sky music are some of my favorite tracks in the game. I loved playing this game as a kid 22 years ago on pc and still ocassionally play the game.
Hi I'm Dennis from Germany 22 years old. I was playing Frogger when I was 4 years or so. Watching your speedrun is super awesome. Cool fun facts btw thanks for your video. So many memories playing this with my older sister...
I remember playing this game when I was a kid. I always sneaked into the living room at night to play this game on the family computer. Thanks for the nostalgia
Got to have so many great memories of this and came back in the day as a little child this game is so much fun you kept my little mind so entertain for so long!❤
This game used to stress the daylights out of me and apparently still does. I know he knows what he's doing but I'm still irrationally anxious just watching lol
The inability of your stream audience to understand the concept of milk in a bag after 5 minutes tells me a lot about the type of people who watch Frogger streamers. But you did a great job bro. Fave game of my childhood. Strong work
Your confidence and patience is commendable 🥳 And the level select screen brought the memories flooding in! We never made it past machinery levels 😂Deadass didn’t even know there were this many zones I can’t wait to show my brother! It makes me happy people are keeping these games alive and essentially archiving entire games w their play throughs so we can get a bit of nostalgia for years to come 🥰#Subscribed
Damn. I can't believe I still remember most of these stages. I haven't seen this game for at least 18 years. Some crazy memories going on right now. I remember raging quite a bit, especially on that sliding stage at 23:50 lol
7:25 You can Super-Jump over Lawnmowers?! EDIT: AND UP ELEVATED (moving) PLATFORMS!? I always had to wait and ride the balloon around to that frog! EDIT 10:20: AND OVER THE SHRUBBERY!?
amazing! this game came free which my parents computer from '98 or something (i was born '99) and i played this for hours when i was a child and never finished it haha but then i returned to it about 2 years ago and finally completed my childhood game :D
So much of this game I haven't played lol I recently watched a "top 10 characters we want in Smash" and one recommendation was Frogger and man, nostalgic shot. I remember this game as I played it along with Crash and Mario. ha. I love the first zone music.
I would play this when I was about 4 on our internet-less Tulip Windows 98. Frogger was particularly special to me because we borrowed the disc from my Grandpa ❤ Miss him so much (also miss playing Frogger on the Tulip but not quite as much hehe)
What. A. Game. I remember I though uncanny crusher was the hardest shit ever and you fly through like it’s nothing lol. Still don’t think I ever beat the second desert level.
I was around 3-5 years around when I played this game. Tried it again a couple years back, couldn't get past the weird oil levels. Awesome game with great soundtrack
I got so far into this game as a kid. I just tried replaying as an adult, after YEARS AND YEARS of not playing. This game is a CHALLENGE! I kind of wish it had difficulty modes: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Literally all they'd have to do is give extra time for Easy, and just enough time for Hard.
i really enjoyed this, although 8 year old me is destroyed haha, i used to spend weeks on a level trying to find all the frogs. My Tiny PC could narely run this above 10fps lol. How are you running this? a emulator? id love to give this another go if it can work with widows 10. Thanks in advance
@@benbeesley3628 "Illegally" Considering the publisher no longer sells it, and may not even be in business anymore, I'm not 100% sure it counts anymore (could be wrong, but at this point not sure I care).
Oh my god this game was my jam as a kid. I never unlocked the desert or the final level....or more than 4 levels in a single world but holy shit I played this game SO MUCH as a kid I hated the sewer levels and could never get past them and the loon levels giving you so much time made me think they were crazy hard as a kid I don't think I ever beat the sunset one Playing the rom now to finslly finish what I started years ago
I got through a decent amount of this game without knowing you can hop over enemies, lawn mowers, etc. I still think this was hard af. But I wonder if I could clutch it today 🤔🤔🤔
I loved this game! I want it! How can I get this exact version of frogger? Anyone know options? I know I can buy disc and assume play on any windows computer...
So i play on a ps2 with the ps1 version, but if you're trying to get the PC version up and running go to highwayfrogs.net you need to install a number of mods to get the PC version to run comfortably on modern computers and fortunately there's an active modding community.
I've played Frogger off & on for about 6 years, but a large portion of that time was spent not playing Frogger. This is a game I generally just do runs of for fun from time to time. I decided to finally go back and do a run of this category, but this isn't hugely optimized.
Furthest I got was cloud zone growing up… this game as well as eGames’ collection on disc and any Humongous Entertainment games like Pajama Sam, Freddie the Fish, and Putt Putt/Spy Fox made my childhood on the computer
I remember playing this for months as a kid to beat it and this guy just casually beats it in an hour 💀 For real though, this game has some of the best level design and diversity in gaming
hello i'm here to inform ya there is a PC version which does load faster than tha PS1 version, however, good luck with gettin' tha music to work on any Windows newer than Windows 98
This brings back memories that I didn’t even know I had
Literally the first 5 seconds gave me crazy nostalgia, just the sound of the frog jumping.
Yeah I fell like I’ve played this before
i literally just said that lol
Played this as a kid with my dad, one of the first games I ever played. Never got past the second level 😂😂
This is one of the most under rated ps1 games so good such a dope sound track
The dark slippery levels still give me so much anxiety watching this. This is frogger-god-tier content right here
I remember playing this game when I was really, really young, like probably 6 years old. Thanks for the memories!
I remember being the only person who could beat frogger goes skiing and having to complete the level for everyone else
Great to see a speed run on this impossibly hard game. Thank you! - From the guy who wrote the music (along with Paul Arnold).
Thanks! The soundtrack is still a banger.
@@CaneofPacci Cheers 😊

Come for the frogger, stay for the bagged milk
Childhood memories!... Also thank you for letting me see all of the levels and frog locations that 7-year old me couldn't find.
You are amazing. I had to watch this to find out where all the damn frogs were and now to get them. Still took me 3,330 deaths :)
decided to look up a speedrun and I am so glad to hear such profound discourse on the state of bagged milk. Thank you :)
Someone really didn't understand the simplicity of the Milk in a Bag concept.. great run

Anyone else make their sibling cry in 2P mode by hopping on top them and not getting off until something came and killed them?
The early frog gets the log
Uncanny crusher and Big boulder alley both gave me so much rage back then lol 😂
Frogger takes one step at a time,
The way that he moves has no reason or rhyme,
He hops and jumps, dodges and ducks.
Cars and buses, vans and trucks!
This game used to stress the daylights out of me and apparently still does.

I remember playing this game years ago. I was crushed that I couldn't find it again and this brought back the emotion I had playing this game.
Frogger goes skiing was about where all my runs ended as an 8 year old
This game has a sweet soundtrack. The third level of the lava world has my favorite track!
Agreed. That one's great. My favorite is Airshow Antics (Cloud 4).
I got this for Xmas one year and I played the hell out of it! Thanks for this video! Also, bagged milk ftw!!!
this is dope. uncanny crushers i think crushed all of us lmfao. ggs. followed here and twitch!
This was my first video game I ever played and I still have the original disk and play it to this day! It also came out the year I was born! lmao
I beat this game as a kid...
Out of all the levels, "Uncanny Crushers" was an untold hell for my tiny 6-year old brain and motor skills.

The last desert level
Recuerdo que demoré meses en completar el juego xD Que buenos recuerdos

the nostalgia is unreal. god i loved this game
9 deaths total. Lilypad zone had the most deaths

8:55 I think you meant Plastic Jugs. Not sure I've ever seen a plastic "carton", only waxed paper.
Is it possible for the Time Flies warp to take you to other parts of the level, or just those 2 spots?
There's a few warps but I think these were the useful ones
For some of the levels you had a specific order to do them in. Is there any particular gameplay reason, or are you just going for harder ones first?
Some of the levels have cycles that don't reset when you get a frog. So there are routes for which order to do the frogs in based on those cycles.
