Thanks for doing this! I enjoyed it and really appreciate your enthusiasm and support. People definitely can use this to gain confidence and experience and not be intimidated or hesitant if they feel they don't have enough! Good luck to you and everyone!
Hi Darren. Just popping by to see what you're up to.....;0)! Are you intending to do your magnificent notes on everyone's scores, like you did last year? Could understand if you don't because it was a huge undertaking last year and, of course (given there are two films) there may well be two times the entrants this time around! Best wishes
I've been really busy but yes I am going to have a listen to other compositions. I don't like listening to other scores until I've finished mine as I don't want to be influenced, subconsciously or directly. I did see something pop up on your feed so that'll be my next stop after Jan 31st though.
@@MoonhareStudio Yep - I agree it's best to have a non influenced response to the piece - I do the same. I guess (as your 'I Catch You' is out) - you're racing to get Sprite Fright finished? Good luck!
No way I have time to do both unfortunately, (been helping a friend record her violin for a project with 25 tracks!) so decided to pick the one that didn't specify it had to be orchestral. I like orchestral sounds (used them in act 3 of this one) but I'm more of a rock, folk and ambient sort of guy to be honest. I also thought it would be more of a challenge as the images really are very subtle to interpret but with the words they do manage to tell a story that has a beginning, middle and end. It is really great writing and acting.
@@MoonhareStudio I was only going to do I Catch You. I only did Sprite Fright as I thought it would be an opportunity to use a drum machine to create orchestration! I used a heavy metal midi pattern to do it - it was a fun experiment. I personally found it too narration heavy to take it too seriously, as I wasn't prepared to commit too much time to it.

No problem. I am really grateful for what you are doing with Cue Tube and the more we can spread the news the better.
Score Relief is wonderful, Bryan's work with The Cue Tube is impressive. Thank you for sharing this video! :)
Yes there is a lot of genuine goodwill going into it. I hope people support it.
