    A lot of really good of options there. I love how it’s not crowded or noisy even though it’s such a beautiful area. I think I would go just for that sandwich at the Bulabar, it looked so good! 🍻

      It's a good alternative to White Beach and really not that far away either. I must of eaten half a dozen of those sandwiches while I was there!

      @@FindingParadise Thanks! Not sure if we’ll make Boracay, still planning, but will be based in Cebu 👍😊 We’ll watch for a “live” in Cebu. 👍

    Another first class review packed with useful information about multiple options for staying on the less touristy side of Boracay. Well done.

    Great video. We only drove by this area when in boracay in January. It looked so nice but we didn't get a chance to walk around. I have been waiting for a detailed video of this area since.

      I guess it would of been real windy at that time. I found the area better than I expected and really not that far away from all the action.

      @@FindingParadise yes it was windy, lots of wind surfing from what we saw

    Last year july/august we stayed at white beach but then it was very windy there and Diniwid looked like a war zone, went to the other side, Tambisaan Beach, also where the arriving boats went to from Caticlan at the time. It was no wind on that side at all and the beach was just lovely, some hotels there as well. So if it's to windy at one place just go to the opposite side and enjoy :) Even if we stayed at Bulabog once at Elsas Place, very cool place we actually never really checked Bulabog out, mainly because all the watersports and a little bit to windy. Will for sure check it out better next time, hear it has gotten very much better since the Boracay shutdown a few years ago.

      I stayed a low key resort there on Tambisaan which i will eventually upload. When I was filming Bulabog it was May so the winds had died down a bit. The 1st quarter of year it's the windiest. I had a quick look at Elsas Place, Google maps is showing its permanently closed. The photos looks like it had some beautiful views from there.

      @@FindingParadise I think it was closed during covid and then you needed a dot accredited place to stay that kind of killed the small privatly owned places. I know her a little that has elsas but don't know if she plans to reopen. It had 2 really nicely decorated apartments. Looking forward to that video 🙂 good thing though it does not have to be a dot accredited place you stay at any longer.

    Excellent review. I saw all the same hotels you reviewed as my travel partner is sensitive to mold and chemical smell. Which many had, although imperceptible to the average non sensitive person. Levantine is great bang for buck. Sadly she was scratched by cat there in office and had to start a course of shots for rabies. A real damper on trip having only been in Boracay 24 hour.....then to Banana Bay. Again excellent review. I was there in August 2023 but it felt like yesterday watching this.

      I remember seeing a cat in a office one time. It must of been in a bad mood when your partner patted her. I did enjoy staying along that beach, getting away from the crowds for a bit. Thanks for watching. Cheers

    for a first timer to boracay is white beach still the best? planning to go in a few weeks. been to cebu and bohol already. love bantayan. do you recommend camotes for a short trip or not worth it?

    • @FindingParadise
      @FindingParadise  5 днів тому

      White Beach is the most popular area, it kinda has a urban beach vibe to it. I have done other videos and this one I go into more details on the beaches as well as things to do on the island. ua-cam.com/video/C9HIfd1Kt1E/v-deo.html September the weather wont be as good as you see on my videos since I went in the summer months. The winds blow on White Beach side as well at that time of year.
      I do like the Camotes, it's completely opposite of Boracay, more low key and less touristy. I like to spend 4 or so days there after that I do kinda get bored myself. If you're going to come from Boracay you would have to fly into Cebu and then catch a ferry which depending on schedule flight to getting a ferry may take up a considerable bit of time. So you would have to weigh that up as well.
