So much truth in this song. Many talk badly about their ex-partner and forget that they once fell in love with this person.
This for me is why Aurora is the best live performer I’ve ever seen,I’ve followed her now for 7 years seen her live 3 times and honestly as a live performer she’s in a different league to anyone else,seriously she just never writes a bad song she is an artist that you can’t put in a box she simply follows her own beliefs on what music should be all about and writes songs that reflects how she sees life and the world we live in,she has never craved to become a mainstream artist for her music goes far deeper than that for her music is a medicine to bring love and healing to people’s lives,it’s why her fanbase which now runs into thousands and thousands around the world love her so much yes I’m a warrior and at 66 I’m blessed to have her music her children as she likes to call her songs in my life.and as Aurora would say”let love conquer your life “❤️

She wrote her first love song "Exist For Love" (a positive love song wink wink 🙂) in 2017 when she was in love, but didn't release it until 2020, because she never wrote a love song before, and she was hesitant to do it.
This is the "sister" song to "Exist For Love", the sad side of love, here is what Aurora said about it:

"When I wrote 'Exist for Love', a celebrations of the love we carry within us, I also wrote 'Potion for Love'. I wanted to also give something to the people who had lost their love. I find it so beautiful how we still find the bravery to give and receive love knowing how it can disappear at any moment. It makes it foolishly beautiful. Painfully delicious. So little connected to the mind and to logic that it makes my little heart want to burst."

Her eyes!! It feels she is looking into your soul! I was lucky enough to see Aurora live 3 times in 2022, and she was FANTASTIC! The MOMENT for me was in her hometown Bergen, when she did Running With the Wolfs; her eyes looked so WILD she scared me!
I am a grown man, never problem speaking to anybody, but she effects me in a way I don't understand. When I met her at the street in Bergen i did not manage to say anything. She was bussy, but I could have said "happy birthday" at least... (her 26 birthday). I have actually written down on my phone what I am going to ask her about so IF I meet her I can ask her som good questions, not just standing there......

She is very sweet. Her voice provokes images of leaves on the breeze in early fall sunshine. I get this song. I still miss my ex wife sometimes, doubly so as she passed a few years ago. Even a broken relationship takes work because good memories can be overshadowed by bad so easily.

The sister song to "Exist for love" This is my secret favorite too. There are a lot of Aurora left for you both to still discover. The Aurora rabbit hole is deep. Very deep. Love from Norway.
The first time I heard that song, it destroyed me. The lyrics, of course, since they are so close to us, and the fragile beauty of the tune and her singing of it. Definitely, there was also a flickering B&W French romantic film playing in the back of my head at the same time. :D
Aurora has said she is working on her next album. But she is also on tour now with a very full schedule. So now, after Covid, she is fully unfolding the music on her latest album.

After reading the comments I'm surprised you haven't reacted to Exist for love yet, it's my favorite song by her. Two other great songs by her are The devil is human, and Midas touch.
Thank you for taking my suggestion. As I said, you have not come close to listening to all of the songs of hers that are out there. Not all of them are on her channel. I will take another look at your playlist and comment a few other suggestions. Every song is unique and special, as always.
As always great song and live performance from Aurora. She is a real Artist. Sometimes sad, sometimes empowering, sometimes poetic, often emotional and always beautiful.
Ps. It is sad song about end of love but in a such beautiful words and without anger.
Sadly this song did not find place on standard album (it was on B side of Cure for me single as far i remember and of course in digital space).

This beautiful song was supposed to be a little gift for people who got cure for me on vinyl. And then Aurora decided to let this little child out to enchant us all.

it happened quiet live at the current is still my favourit, together with live on mars and believer
@@soleywolfgangsdottir It Happened Quiet (live at The Current) is way up there, top three or two. I like those covers, as well. Lately I’ve played Forgotten Love a few times. There’s a neat energy and “propulsiveness” to that song.
But mostly it’s been a couple of songs by Susanne Sundfør.

This song was only available as a B-side on the “Cure For Me” vinyl single released in July 2021. I bought the single just for this beautiful song💕
In July 2022 she finally released it digitally, and at the same time she released this beautiful performance😍❤️

Sad but lovely 😊. As much as I like the album versions (single version in this case) of her songs, many of the live stripped/acoustic versions are better in my opinion. Like this one.
I suspect you never reacted to "The River". One of my favorites from her second. and also the second most played song from that album on Spotify. Rather big hit. The official music video is nice, but there's also a really nice acoustic live version from COP26 with with Fredrik on guitar and Magnus on cajon and backing vocals :

by the way both susanne sundfor and anna von hausswolff are working on new songs. susanne drops her new album in april, she has already dropped a couple of new songs from it.
