'The 1975,' who are currently taking the U.K. by storm and will making some serious waves in the Unite States, chatted with us backstage at the 2014 Woodie Awards during SXSW.
The guys were hilarious as they joked about touring with Snoop Dogg, discussed bringing their sound to the United States, and gave high-five lessons. 'The 1975' also revealed what makes their American fans different from those elsewhere.
'1975' were nominated for the 'Cover Woodie Award' for their rendition of One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful.'

He sounded so baked when he said that lmao
the interviewer is so cute, she sounds like she genuinely cares what they have to say and she sounds interested, most interviewers aren't like that

Are interviewers aware that the 1975 is a 4 man band not just George and Matty? I wish Ross and Adam got a chance to do interviews, no other band is interviewed with only half the members

Actually a lot of bands are interviewed like that (Fall Out Boy is usually just Pete & Patrick and Catfish and the Bottlemen is usually Van) but I get what your saying and would also like for the rest to get some recognition
+Izzy Crispin It's actually not up to the interviewers - band members usually do many interviews in a row and it's their management that decides (or the band members themselves if they'd rather not do press), but it's not the interviewers who are like "oh I just want these two I don't care about the other ones". So if it's always Matty and George, it's because their management want it that way :)
ross and adam have often stated that they don't really enjoy interviews as much as matty and george
All time low usually only has jack and Alex in interviews

This is probably the best 1975 interview in my opinion like not content wise but the fact that the interview includes George... Like I'm a bit late but Ross and Adam barley do interviews because the idea of people only want to see Matty comes up and it shows in some interviews of the interviewer only talking to Matty so this make me happy :)
