Crazy ironic on the first call, I'm a 35 Yr old diabetic lost most my teeth and finally got a few pulled just waiting on my new dentures now couple more weeks and I'll be able to smile again. Thanks for the kind funny words to make him n me feel a bit better. Keep doing your thing Stav 👌

Yeah I never brushed my teeth in my late teens and early twenties and they would bleed when I did brush them. Like Stav, I had girlfriends during that period and they never complained about bad breath

Stav denying generational trauma and then talking about chiropractic ghosts is killing me 😂
To be fair, he was saying that that’s what chiropractors believe, not that it’s what he believes
I mean the way people talk about generational trauma is insane. Now long term evolution like reflexes and fear of snakes is absolutely true and is absolutely mind blowing. That generational trauma is the same mechanism as any instinct, and is not well understood, but that’s as far as the genetic argument can take you. The only other mechanism would be literally learning the trauma and resulting tendencies directly. Which also is obviously a true mechanism. But people take it way too far… just like with chiropractic… or honestly just about everything. Many humans always be absolutely trippin!

@@Dannyryan73 generational trauma is a nuanced thing. It’s not like I wrote a scientific paper but even then I think it’s pretty easy to grasp the general definition of generational trauma. But unfortunately many people do misunderstand and hyperbolize it, as with just about everything. But now I’m just repeating points for you and they are so simple it almost feels condescending to do so
@@JackBlackNinjaJust wanna say that generational trauma and reflexes/phobias are completely separate and not related at all. Generational trauma is a sociological thing, reflexes and phobias are psychological. For instance, let's say you yoink someone whose ancestors were all slaves, including their parents, and raise them in a completely different environment, like a utopian future society. They wouldn't have "generational trauma responses", they'd probably live a happy life. If you take that same person, in that same hypothetical scenario, and splashed them with water, they'd still have a mammalian dive reflex. Anyone who says otherwise is, as the science currently stands, factually incorrect. But maybe more research will reveal I'm wrong in the future, who knows

@@Broctofoams bahahhaha wanna know whats funny I probably watched every episode, till the one where Jeremiah came on, and she had done material on his show when it was supposed to be off the top. The way she handled that, not realizing that she was 100% in the wrong, and that basically every human being other than her had figured it out. Then to top it off she started saying things like, "there is no way Mark Normand is that good, that he was doing it off the top". I stopped watching and haven't gone back since. Honestly I still think this one's worse, at least Jordan says something mildly funny every once in a while.

@ole might explain why its trash. after watching half of her episode, she seems way more narcissistic and self-centered then the average comedian, especially her therapy stuff..going to a therapist 2 times a day? and sessions can end after just 10min after a 'breakthrough' aka something dramatic. just sounds like an annoying, drama-filled person. AKA clear case of histrionic personality disorder.
anyway, SNL still hasnt been funny for years. it's definitely not HER fault, but its because they hire people LIKE her.
Definitely listen to the Behind the Bastards episode where they talk about chiropracty. It started as a christian religion that believed cracking joints was how you remove ghosts that are inhabiting your body lol

@@brunodanner7777yea and they still teach some of that weird pseudoscience today. I had a chiropractor tell me he cured a kid's asthma with an adjustment and he was serious. The worst part about it is when I tell people that they are like, "yea I mean that's possible I think" 😑🤣
I can’t stand chiropractors but because what they do provides some relief when they crack people’s necks and backs they are considered legit but anyone who has pain should go see a physical therapist, they do actual science based things to help, it may take a little longer but it’s 100% better for your body because you are fixing the root of the issue instead of just putting a bandaid on the problem, and it’s cheaper over the long term because after 6-8 weeks you’ll be good for a long time whereas you’re going to be paying a lot when you have to keep going to the chiropractor because the pain keeps coming back.
I totally forgot I had listened to that and couldn’t remember why I knew about the whole ghost thing.

Denture dude, I got dentures at 20 years old. I hooked up with girls because of my perfect smile. Just for fun sometimes I would offer to let them hold my smile since they liked it so much. Good laugh and great I’ve breaker. Be proud of it. Your smile is better than 95% of the worlds. Also you never have to go to a dentist again. You can clean them easier than anyone. They will last longer too!!
