Well yes, the card is beautiful. But I love the humanity part of your videos. The little voice in the background just chirping in with no warning. The messy finger thing. You are so cute :) Have been making cards for quite some time now. Now starting into mixed media for books for my grandchildren things. Card making and then into mixed media is like - out in my artist studio - going from an oil painting to working in clay :) Nice clean hands while painting - then sticking hands into a vat of wet clay!!! Hi. I don't bother with gloves when crafting either but I will wrap a bit of cling film round my fingers if it's something really messy or likely to stain.
I just tend to clean stained fingers with toothpaste and a nail brush!🤣
I really liked the numbers as they were a the end of this video but the finished product came out so great! I adore the silver additions. The card certainly came out looking very dimensional even though there was minimal actual dimension. Now I'm really glad I bought 2 jars of the gilding gum. It hasn't even shipped yet but I'm really ready to start playing with it. (I think Mr. Siri just wants to play music for you but, like you, I cannot figure out what's triggering him! For Tim Holtz, it was the word "seriously." He had to turn Siri while videotaping. I know that won't work for you.)

I’m not a mixed media fan but am loving the gilding gum. I keep tipping the tin and spilling it because it’s so runny. Have had to decant it into a bottle. ❤
It is very runny before any powder is added isn't it! I think it may be easier to use if it was in a bottle.😊

OMGoodness, Mr. Seri gets me laughing so hard each time he butts in. LOL I'd like to know what you say that gets him going too. LOL I'm still chuckling! I have the same problem with Google, but not near as often as you do. LOL Velcro is what I call it. I'm not a huge fan of purples, don't hate them just don't use that color much...but these colors look great on this fabulous card. I love it and loved it even more when I saw it up close on Instagram. I love the design of this card and I think the young lady that will receive it will love it as well. Actually, I think I will take your cue and make a number card for my youngest son's 27th birthday for this month! Hugs, Brenda

Hi. It's amazing how messy your area got but how quickly it was cleaned up. Maybe, just maybe...I ought to think more seriously about getting a glass mat...but then again it's a question of storing it safely when not in use....🤔

This is very good of you Debbie, thank you. The subscriber numbers slowed considerably whilst I was doing the advent calendar as it appeared to anyone new that the videos were all the same and so weren't tempted to take a look. Now that I'm doing different things again the numbers are starting to increase more quickly, but are still not growing as fast as previously. The people who do watch however are absolutely terrific and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful comments they leave. 😊

Hi Chris, I have been to see the finished masterpiece on instagram and it is brilliant. I love how adding the silver has completely lightened the whole card and the way you have incorporated the young lady's name into the design & not just added it as an afterthought. Love the end result of your card, it’s beautiful. Thank you for the demonstrations on the gilding gum it’s very informative and kind of you to show the various results. I’ve just finished a first birthday card on my scan n cut I cut out a large number one and the letters spelling one then welded the letters down the side of the number one. Loved seeing how you had created yours. Take care.

Just checked the card, blimey it's absolutely stunning! Love them numbers too where did you get them? I don't have that particular product, but I have accumulated loads of Nuvo Embellishment Mousses, which are basically a paste with lots of mica, and I love using it for gilding, especially on black. Thanks for sharing ❤️
