I can never hate FRN. My first pocket knife was in FRN imitating peel-ply G10. I’ve also enjoyed the Spyderco LW FRN. Seems like CJRB has a decent grip on how to make a likable FRN.

This has become my favorite everyday beater knife.
One thing I noticed is that no matter how hard the button is pressed, it doesn’t bind the action and the blade swings freely. Not the case with my other cjrbs

I need one of these! Just got my 1st CJRB yesterday. Got the Rose Gold Pyrite and really like it. I want the wharnie shape and will be getting this lite version with the bigger blade. Thanks homie!
They recently put a poll on their FB about future colors of the pyrite light and one of the options was the rose gold PVD in the wharny. So hopefully they might bring that in the future 🤞🏼

I know it’s a decent knife but I can’t stand FRN. I thought that stuff went by the wayside but we are seeing it everywhere all of a sudden. There must have been a huge sale on the stuff. 😆 Take care 😃👊🏼
It's really not cheap feeling at all IMHO. Some of it is awful I agree
Frn is last on my list or almost last anyways. There are a few exceptions, Spyderco is good but I still don't buy them and this cjrb seems really well finished. I prefer heft and weight typically to lightweight but if someone really wants lightweight this is a good affordable option

Their proprietary steel is not that good and doesn’t hold edge and sharpens like D2. Just another cheap China knife.
It's nothing spectacular I agree. Although for 30-50 I can say it's been pretty good
