I think loose twists are a great protective style, because it prevents over-manipulation of your hair strands. I personally can't wear them loose and fluffy like yours, because I sweat too much in my roots. I really have to have clean, visible parts in order to get air circulating at my scalp. Otherwise, I feel like I'm having a heatstroke. I actually wore large plaits pinned up into a style to work on Friday, and I think that's going to be my go-to protective style; plus, my head stayed cool all day.
Yes I love loose two strand twists! I am a couple days shorts of being 24 months into my natural hair transition, I have a lot of relaxed ends left So just doing this with my hair would look strange. So I do this look with really kinky Marley hair! Actually I have less twists then this usually. Not too many you tubers do this look actually! Well not as many as their should be. Anyway, I loooooove this look on you!
I think they're part of the journey make sure you're keeping your hair moisturized (especially the ends) try keeping your hair stretched if you can as well(buns,twists braids,bantus, or even with large rollers hth)

I love how healthy your hair looks!
Can you do a video on how you maintain these? As in the moisturizing/wash day
Love Yes those videos are coming up.
TFS I love the fact that they aren't super mini.....I hate those...take forever to put in and even longer to take out and they matte-up too easily
Love it. I've been wearing loose twist since June and I really think it's helping me to retain some length.

I love your twists!!!
how many twists did you have?
Lol! My hair is the same way. You can't see my scalp even when I part it.
This video was just in time cause I ALWAYS make my twists tight but it takes too long.
This was so helpful with cutting time.
Thank you @annettemint

I'm 2yrs plus natural and would be fine if I could overcome tangles and knots. :-{
