I own the 1.6 Diesel 115 BHP and I assure anyone looking at this car to consider the lack of power/BHP where I find myself having to drop into 3rd when climbing a considered incline for longer than a few seconds. Changing from 1st to 2nd has the gear lever crunching into place, whilst the dealership tells me there is nothing wrong, whilst I have had drivers behind me trying to get away whilst I try to get the freekin thing into 2nd. There is no comparison to the first-generation Picasso; I've had three of them but this latest version lacks in the engine department. 'Up to 77 MPG' is a joke, as is the mixed urban where the most I have had is 42 MPG. For all the 'luxury' this car offers, the engine ruins the experience. I can safely say this from experience, where the first generation Picasso (same size engine) gave me 56 MPG around town, up to the three years I owned it, and had enough power to accelerate up hills where this latest model struggles dismally. I can't wait to be rid of it
Your very welcome! I'm sure all will go well and if it suits you, then feel free to comment on your experience after you've had it a couple of weeks; I'd be interested :) [Ooops; edit for typo]
Which model? This is so beautiful.
The 1.6 diesel 115bhp hdi is perfect, plenty of power, just wafts up the hills in 6th gear without missing a beat
