I’ve become a bit of niche fanatic but the first fragrance I ever fell in love with was Tobacco Vanille. To this day its still one of the best things I’ve ever smelled
For those on the fence about lost cherry's longevity, if you moisturise your skin before applying any perfume you increase longevity by quite a lot. A thin layer of vaseline on the areas where you're applying the perfume is best.
Same picks here. Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood, and Ombre Leather are really some of the best fragrances in the market today. Other brands will try and try to replicate these but Tom Ford really has this certain quality and level of refinement that cannot be duped. Also love Noir Extreme, Grey Vetiver, and Fougere d'Argent from the brand.
From amongst the ones I own- 1. Tobacco Oud 2. Tobacco Vanille 3. Noir de Noir 4. Oud Wood 5. Ombré leather 6. Oud Minerale 7. Fougere Platine 8. Oud Wood Intense Sold Grey Vetiver recently , not because I didn’t like it, it was to get others in the collection. Really want Tobacco Oud Intense but seems unlikely as it’s been discontinued.
Ashley, you delivered, as always, a great video. I love all Tom Ford fragrances & getting your expert analysis on all the fragrances made this an enjoyable video that I watched today & I will probably watch again in the future when I want to watch a review of Tom Ford fragrances.
Top 10 Tom Ford Fragnces in my books: - Tobacco Vanille - Oud Wood - Noir de Noir - Tobacco oud - Mandarino di Amalfi - Lost Cherry - Vanille Fatale - Rive d’Ambre - Fucking Fabulous - Plum Japonais +1 London
Ombre leather smells like the most divine masculine sweetness on my husband. I adore it, and so does he. Initially it's very much just leather, but on the dry down, the sweetness really comes out. But again, not at all feminine. It's beast mode: it lasts (all you need are two spritz honestly), it projects and smells absolutely unique.....truly a masterpiece!
Nice overview Ashley. Since you are in the industry, would be curious about your thoughts regarding the EU ban on lilial that has caused/forced many brands, including Tom Ford, to recently discontinue a number of fragrances? Neroli Portofino Forte from TF was one that was axed and has almost disappeared here in the US, although the US FDA has not banned lilial. Seems like this is having a big ripple effect through many houses offerings, and I hear that Great Britain will be the next to ban lilial.
So many great scents (and not so great) with this house. Loved the Vert line and love the Fougere line as well. If I had to pick a top three it would be Patchouli Absolu, Grey Vetiver and Oud Wood. Oud wood would be a clear cut #1 head & shoulders above the rest had it kept the original gold label formulation, matter of fact one of my favorite scents ever. The current formulation while still a magnificent scent similar to the original, the performance is just a crime and I am absolutely jealous of those who say they get good performance out of the current formula. Thameen’s Carved Oud is a serviceable replacement but I still mourn the original gold label formula.
Some of the scents by this brand that I feel were always quite underrated would be Champaca Absolu, Shanghai Lily, Moss Breches, Jasmine Rouge, Oud Fleur and Fougere Platine. All amazing scents that I feel should’ve got much more recognition.
WHY ASHLEY IS DELETING postings like the following ??? Bad buy: KENZO EDT INTENSE synthetic synthetic synthetic ! Stays the same over hours. Never again a blind buy on recommendation of Ashley. Favorites heat: Terre d'Hermes Vetiver - Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue pour Homme Eau INTENSE - Guillaume 4.1 Le musc & La peau - Frapin: L'humaniste
Honestly speaking Tobacco vanille is a very nice fragrance. I do have niche fragrances but most of them don’t perform and last longer as Tom Ford does . Sometimes on my coat 🧥 especially wearing ombré leather I could go 2 days without respraying because the fragrance is very much present . I really love Tom ford and great video too
Good video on the Tom Ford brand. My all time favorite is Tom Ford Extreme for men. A travesty that it was discontinued. I also have & enjoy TF Noir, Noir Extreme, Ombré Leather, NP Aqua & NP Forte. It would be great if you touched on your favorites from the house of Guerlain. Again, great video Milady.
my first TF bottles were TV, TL, and NdN, but I find myself wearing them less often as time passes. TL is really inconsistent on me - sometimes all I smell is ashtray. I bought mandarino di amalfi and it's my most worn fragrance ever. I'm looking to get grey vetiver but haven't decided between the original or EDT
I’ve heard a few people reviewing TF perfumes say that Lost Cherry’s longevity isn’t very good. On me it lasts ages. It wasn’t a perfume that I loved at first, I thought it was too sweet. Then it grew on me and now I love it. So it’s great that it lasts for hours on me, especially after the price increase in TF private blend perfumes ❤️
Great video thanks for sharing, and hard to disagree with those excellent choices! Check out Rose Prick, really surprised, it is lovely and easily wearable on men to, love Tom Ford!
Neroli Portofino, Mandarino Di Amalfi, Oud Wood, White Suede, Soleil Blanc. are my main go to's.... Most of the others usually have some kind of funk to them. Soleil Blanc and Oud wood smell go together.
I had one of those 8.5ml bottles of Tobacco Vanille and I wanted to get a bigger bottle, but I got my nose on Amber Oud Tobacco Edition from Al Haramain (which is a dupe for Tobacco Vanille) and I remained faithful to that. It is more "gentle" I would say (the Al Haramain one) than the Tom Ford. Some would shy away from it because it is a little bit pricey for a middle-eastern fragrance (about 90$/60ml), but the quality is absolutely there!
I have 7 of those there. Guys there’s this Tom Ford called Champaca Absolute , I find many people sleeping on that fragrance. That thing is dangerous 🔥🔥🔥
So nice of u ashely, I'm ur subscriber from Pakistan, very impressive video for me atleast bcs i love my honorable, mr. Tom Ford creations, some of I hv from ur list like black orchid edp, ombre leather edp, grey vetiver edt and 10ml decants of tobacco oud and tuscan leather, and 1 question I want to ask, which grey vetiver show in ur list edt or edp ? Answer me kindly bcs I'm thinking to buy edp constration in grey vetiver,.
Would love another Video with your favorite diptyque fragrances!!! Have been checking out and sampling a few of them and would love to hear your opinion
I have Dua’s “Popped Cherry”🙄 And it’s really good, quite identical, but it lasts ages. I have Noir de Noir, Oud Wood and I want Ombré Leather- I adore how strong it is..
Late to the game, but adore Lost Cherry! I have a decant -an old one at that, and I used 1 dab, maybe 2, at the office and I do mean dabs from the tiny dabbers... well those 2 smudges caused 5 meters away an impact. My coworker entering my corridor said she smelled cookies from those 2 nano dabs. I need to sample Oud Wood and Santal Blush (adore creamy sandalwood). Beautifully presented Ashley: great hair style and also liked the 2 shades of white in your blazer and blouse outfit. Très elegante.
My favorites are Tobacco Oud, Oud Fleur, Beau de Jour, and Ombre Leather. The house has been kind of a mess the last few years. Multiple discontinuations and lackluster releases.
I finally added Tobacco Vanille to my collection. I had a very potent 5 ml decant for a couple of years because it was so strong. My fav from the house.
Would love to see interviews with both of these amazing perfumers! I still haven’t been able to try anything from Sonia’s Ella K line, they’re hard to acquire in the U.S.
My personal favorite is Japon Noir(Not plum Japonaos although that’s good too) Black orchid is a classic so is Tobacco Vanille,Tuscan Leather and Noir De Noir. I did enjoy Lavander Palm back then and wish they never discontinued Amber Absolute,Sahara noir. I enjoy Velvet Orchid on a woman soooo much. Great vid Ashley. Really enjoyed this
Initially when Ashley spoke about Tom Ford Noir Extreme, I giggled as I thought she said it had a 'goofy heart'. Yeah, silly me, but the child inside me enjoyed it.
Tuscan Leather, Noir de Noir, and both Black Orchid Parfum and EDP are my favorites, but to be honest, there are so many good ones. The brand in general has very identifiable distinctive stand-out fragrances which can make them polarizing sometimes...
Great video as always! Just to add to your perfecting a theme discussion, I really liked what he did with Italian Cypress. I think it’s an amazing scent and while it is definitely similar to Z-14 so much so that some may feel the purchase it is not justified (and they are not wrong) but I enjoyed it enough that I most definitely had a full bottle and sincerely miss it. Cherishing the little bit I have left.
Hello ! Good morning thank you for the video. So I have and love many of Tom Fords fragrances I have a rather large niche collection I keep my best bottles in a large cabinet and among these I keep both Grey Vetiver and Beau du jour with them from and center and I love the look of the bottles and I feel they rival most everything in my cabinet. Beau du jour to me is a scent with so much presence it really gets noticed when I wear it it smells expensive and fits any situation that requires a suite and tie. Both Grey Vetiver and Bdj are my go to work horse fragrances. Another I pull for in winter and fall when I’m in formal situations is Fougere Dargent which is super spicy and stands out when all other men in the room are wearing blue frags. Great video hope you enjoyed your Easter Sunday
My first fragrance was Oud and I fell in love with it. It's so, so, so beautiful and the smell of that Oud soothes you. However, are you familiar with Moth and Rabbit? They're from Berlin and structure their scents around film.
You look like Princess Lea in this video.
Leave it out mate, she ain’t gonna suck you off
She's beautiful
I’ve become a bit of niche fanatic but the first fragrance I ever fell in love with was Tobacco Vanille. To this day its still one of the best things I’ve ever smelled

Hii anurag! Is tobacco vannile suits a 23 years old guy?
@@ShivanngN_Eldritch absolutely!! Try before you buy though

Hello, Great review, I do have couples scents from this house, Black Orchid is my Autumn scent🙌..cheers from SWEDEN
Hey Ashley. Amazing video as always. It's been a while since you have uploaded any videos.
Eagerly looking forward to seeing you soon.
Ashley, you delivered, as always, a great video. I love all Tom Ford fragrances & getting your expert analysis on all the fragrances made this an enjoyable video that I watched today & I will probably watch again in the future when I want to watch a review of Tom Ford fragrances.

Hi Ashley! Thank you for all the great content. I adore White Suede, especially in the warm weather.
Great choice Jennifer and thank you!

Noir Pour Femme ❤discontinued 😢
Vanille Fatale❤discontinued😢 they’re bringing it back but Sebastian says it’s not the same😢😢😢
I would’ve put Ebene fume on this list. Smells expensive and sexy 🔥
Tobacco Vinelle, is without doubt the best fragrance. End of. I love it. Addicted to to it. Perfect choice for your top spot.
back to back videos Ashley, i hope you're doing well by now.
Feeling much better now, thank you!
Ombre leather smells like the most divine masculine sweetness on my husband. I adore it, and so does he.

Tom ford ombre leather edp is my favorite 😍 then the parfum version and Tuscan leather.

Thank you for being honest about the performance/longevity etc. That's a rarity but very helpful.
+1 Much respect for the transparency
I love that you love the house of Tom Ford! You're one of the few noses here on UA-cam that I truly truly trust!
I agree with you on the Tom Ford Extreme, it was an amazing scent.
Thank you so much!
Great list. I would definitely have to add Plum Japonais in there somewhere👍 Although it is nearly impossible to find and extremely expensive.....
I loooove Plum Japonais but the dry down get a bit weird on my skin which is unfortunate
@@ashleyinparisvideos Fair enough. Frustrating when that happens 🙄😁

Real confidence enhancers.
I am wearing Noir De Noir right now and bought it just yesterday.

I’m growing my collection of colognes, but Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc surrenders a sensuous bouquet that’s not overwhelming, yet wafts pleasantly.
I love Tom Ford fragrances I don’t get the hate for Tuscan Leather for mine it’s clearly his best also believe Noir Extreme is way overrated
I love velvet orchid
My top 3 TFs are Ombre Leather, Oud Wood and Neroli Portofino. You are gorgeous by the way.
As a guy, Black Orchid is next level. So unique and amazing.
I have 7 of those there. Guys there’s this Tom Ford called Champaca Absolute , I find many people sleeping on that fragrance. That thing is dangerous 🔥🔥🔥
Fougere dargent is my favorite at the moment

My first love with Tom Ford was Noir Pour Femme. It’s still a favorite! I too also love Oud Wood. Great video as always!
so tom ford he was indian?
If you drown yourself in Oud Wood, it ends up smelling like a rubber balloon.
Great list
Even when you go to perfumes stores and a lady advertises you something do not buy she was told to sell that one! 😂
I have Dua’s “Popped Cherry”🙄 And it’s really good, quite identical, but it lasts ages.
I have Noir de Noir, Oud Wood and I want Ombré Leather- I adore how strong it is..
TL>>>>>>>OL
What do you think about Ombre Leather Parfum? I find it better because its as Strong
I didn’t now you had your own channel. I recently saw you on The Perfume Guy’s channel and I loved your reviews.
Congratulations on 10K Ashley!
Thank you Jay!

Noir Extreme definitely gets me compliments. I want to try Grey Vetiver but I heard its being discontinued.
Tobacco Oud hands down #1. Otherwise I think your list is great and love your top 3 as well! Thx for the vid
How does Black Orchid compare to “Noir De Noir”?
So many good ones!! Tuscan Leather is my signature scent! But almost any Tom Ford could be!!
Top parfums de Marly fragrances video some day?
My favorites are Tobacco Oud, Oud Fleur, Beau de Jour, and Ombre Leather. The house has been kind of a mess the last few years. Multiple discontinuations and lackluster releases.
So beautiful and elegant 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you Pravin!
My fave Tom Ford is Tuscan Leather. Your list is really good 👍🏿 Happy Easter Ashley
Black Orchid is my absolute favorite TF fragrance, hands down. I also love Tiziana Terenzi Maremma which close to TFBO
I finally added Tobacco Vanille to my collection. I had a very potent 5 ml decant for a couple of years because it was so strong. My fav from the house.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm a big fan of Tom Ford fragrances and have a blessed day
Thank you Michael! Happy to hear you enjoyed
You welcome keep up the good work and thank you very much
Is there any tom ford frag. to be in the bottom? I think that all tom ford frags. are in top of top.
Jesh, you look just like one of my sisters when she was younger
Tobacco Vanille or Herod Marly? Great videos ♥
The only one I own is Tom Ford For Men, which nobody seems to talk about anymore.
Tuscan leather is my favorite, but I also love ombré leather edt and edp.
When are the Daniella and Sonia interviews coming!? 🤔
Would love to see interviews with both of these amazing perfumers! I still haven’t been able to try anything from Sonia’s Ella K line, they’re hard to acquire in the U.S.
I need to get on it!
There is something to be said for the quality of a TF fragrance.
Ombre Leather for the win!
Absolutely!
I have a sample of the discontinued Vert D'Encens and it's fantastic
Is Noir de Noir more feminin or is it more suitable for men?
My personal favorite is Japon Noir(Not plum Japonaos although that’s good too)
Black orchid is a classic so is Tobacco Vanille,Tuscan Leather and Noir De Noir.
I did enjoy Lavander Palm back then and wish they never discontinued Amber Absolute,Sahara noir. I enjoy Velvet Orchid on a woman soooo much.
Great vid Ashley. Really enjoyed this
Thank you so much!
Initially when Ashley spoke about Tom Ford Noir Extreme, I giggled as I thought she said it had a 'goofy heart'. Yeah, silly me, but the child inside me enjoyed it.
😂😂😂
I finally tried Tobacco Vanille on my skin and was taken aback because it smelt like honey to me.
Keep it up Ashley. I enjoy your opinion as an experienced fragrance reviewer.
What about Tuscan Leather? 😳😳😳
Two of my favorites Not listed here are Champaca and Sole di Positano
I also love champaca!
Tuscan Leather, Noir de Noir, and both Black Orchid Parfum and EDP are my favorites, but to be honest, there are so many good ones. The brand in general has very identifiable distinctive stand-out fragrances which can make them polarizing sometimes...

Grey vetiver edp or edt?
EDP
As the other commenter said, EdP. Apologies for not making that more clear!
I'm not even sure edt is still available. Think it was discontinued.
Hi, Ashley. Which version of Ombre Leather do you prefer: the eau de parfum or the parfum? Thx.
Get the eau de parfum. Lasts longer.
I also want to know Ashley's favourite
EDP is sweeter
I prefer the EdP :)
Tempted to try buy Tobacco Vanille but worried that it smells like Herod by Parfums de Marly which I own.
Love both but they’re quite different in my opinion. Herod reminds me more of Ambre Narguile by Hermes
