Good morning!!!! Switching up my upload schedule a bit this week because tomorrow is Christmas Eve! If I vlogged Christmas and got it up on Monday, would anybody watch it? I want to but I’m not sure it it’ll be too late!
I had never been told that cramping was normal during pregnancy. I had cramps during the first trimester and was so scared I was having a miscarriage. But it turned out it was just my uterus growing and possibly constipation as well. (Which was something else I learned: constipation can cause cramping which can cause extra nausea. Yay. Thankfully my midwife recommended Natural Calm Magnesium, which cleared away the cramping and nausea.)
Yes! I had cramps every day throughout the day until about week 7, along with a couple times I saw pink spotting and once I had a little red spotting. I just had my first ultrasound around 9 weeks and baby is healthy and just fine! Also, I feel like I didn't realize symptoms fluctuate, so when they've been less, it was a cause of anxiety until I found out that can be normal.
Next plz do a video on things u wish ur partner knew before getting pregnant or things u wish u knew u would need to rely on ur partner for... plus the guilt that goes along with it... that's something I've struggled with this pregnancy like being limited on doing so many things I was used to doing that now I need my husband to do (like cleaning the litter box) ect.
Im 32 weeks and just here because I'm miserable, my feet hurt, my back hurts, I can't get anything done. God I need this baby to be done cooking already but I have two months to go!!! Helpppp
Good to know. I'm 31 just diagnosed with bad PCOS so I'm praying I'm able to have at least 1 child. I know so many people who have babies and are pregnant and I'm now the only one without child. Those of you who are going through infertility it is no joke and some don't have cookie cutter TTC journies.
@@MeganAcuna its okay, I'd like to put the blame on my past doctors for never running tests on me when I went in complaining of certain abnormalities. I wish I was able to figure this out earlier so maybe just maybe we could have been able to have our lil bundle of joy.
Oh man. I didn't know I was pregnant with #2 until 16 weeks. (Very heavy spotting, had HG with my first) I was running/walking 7miles a day, chasing a 2yr old, eating incredibly clean, doing at home workout circuits and still watched that scale climb higher and higher. Mentally it was so difficult to come to terms with being pregnant again because honestly my body does just blow up like a balloon. Not to mention my mom and grandma talking about how they were both back to a size 0 immediately after birth. Thats so not healthy, and I wish that for once someone other than my doctor would be honest and say hey, some people do gain 50+lbs pretty much no matter what they do and that's OKAY
Same. I have always been tiny and I continued to eat healthy (not perfect but not anything different than I was doing before) and workout during my whole pregnancy and I’m already at 40 pounds at 33 weeks. It’s very hard to accept
I remember feeling so out of control. I’m sorry you’re going through that! I’m really proud of you for weathering this storm and keeping your sweet baby safe and healthy. I hope your mental load lightens and you feel like yourself again soon! 💛
I definitely know what you mean about being overdue! I really wanted to go into labour naturally but I got till 42 weeks and 5 days then I was induced! A 9 pounder with no medication was very intense for my first baby! 😂👶❤️
I didn’t get implantation bleeding, however I did get nausea right away from not eating as much and the FATIGUE was so intense. Especially rough for me as I was going through student teaching during COVID-19 in college 😅
Hi Megan loved your video ! I totally agree with your pregnancy not being the same as the one your mama had. My mum had an amazing pregnancy and loved being pregnant, this is not the samed for me, for the first 3.5 months I got really sick, throwing up every single day, loosing weight, being so tired it was not what I had imagined at all and it was hard to let go of my expectations
Yes! The weight gain has been hard on me. I just feel like a big ol fat whale lol. Especially when my clothes stopped fitting me also my skin broke out like crazy at first it's just starting to get better and I'm now starting to come around to my weight gain.
I always feel weird, 37 weeks tomorrow and I can still sleep on my back, but sometimes the sides hurt worse. 😬 Also enjoying catching your videos :) Found you via looking up natural birth vlogs!
I didn't know that spotting can take place over a longer period of time, I thought it's just a one time coloured discharge. I can imagine why it's so scary for moms. I never had spotting and the 1st pregnancy was definitely easier than the first one. More peeing, lots of nausea, bad sleep (sometimes it feels like insomnia), cramps that made me worry about a wrong implantation for 16 weeks, horrible back pain from the get go and insane moodiness. Just to name a few. Baby #2 is also head up so the kicks feel so bad, like a leg will get out through my vejayjay. I like to sleep on my right side and I've read that best position is on the left side. That's uncomfortable for me and I often wake up. I was a breech baby, my mom was the same so the whole pregnancy I stressed that the same would happen to me. Luckily #1 was head down from the beginning and until the end. I was scheduled to get induced at 40w and funnily enough labour started on it's own that morning. I'm not sure if women go over their term all that often but it's definitely happening.
I’m 25 weeks and everything hurts. I was prepared for this to happen. But at like 35 weeks 😂😅 I do go to a chiropractor though and HIGHLY recommend one that is specialized in treating pregnant women for anyone who is in pain.
Oh my gosh, yes to all of this! The only thing that did not happen for me was being overdue because my little boy tried to put my into labor right before I hit 37 weeks and then pregnancy-induced hypertension resulted in me being induced at 37 w 2 d 🤯 It really is so insane how fast symptoms appear, though! I was like 8 DPO and right away I started having to pee so often, felt like I got hit by a truck because I was so exhausted and had an increased appetite!! All those symptoms combined made me take a test 🙊 I thought “I would be so early if I am pregnant, there is no way I could be peeing this much this soon!” I was very wrong 🤣
@@kyliesteele4542 I heard this, too! I think it is crazy that your hormones can literally be what make you have to pee constantly at the beginning of your pregnancy 🥴 I love Megan’s “What I Wish I Had Known” series so much because she talks about everything you wonder about!
Very good video! I'm 31 weeks, tomorrow, and symptoms that started early DEFINITELY hit me by surprise. I had started peeing more often and had non stop headaches before I even tested. The headaches were the worst throughout my first trimester and now have come back somewhat during my third. Meaning not as constant, but when they happen it's a good three to four days of throbbing and Tylenol doesn't kill it like pre pregnancy. Another thing was by the 6 to 8 week mark, I had nerve pain in my lower back that at best was just the back and upper butt, but at worst would radiate pain and shoot down to my knee. Always on the right side and it's the one symptom that has NEVER GONE AWAY! Some days are better than others, but turning over in bed has been painful and getting worse as the baby and my belly grows and it's very exhausting. Also, and I hope this isn't too intimate, but my sex life with my husband was basically dead for MONTHS. My discharge changed so drastically and I became overly sensitive to the point where sex was painful. I had my doctor check for infection, but everything came back normal. These past two months we've been able to reconnect, but the physical sensation isn't anywhere near as pleasurable as it was and this is all due to hormones.. I'm so happy to have my son coming, but pregnancy is a challenge.
Do you HAVE to induce labor if you're overdue? I just like... Idk I wouldn't mind my baby being born later and mom said all of us were overdue so (obviously) unless it gets to the point where it's a health concern I want her to come out whenever she's ready 💖
I believe that after 41 weeks the health of placenta declines which can interfere with your baby getting enough nutrients but I also know people who have gone past 41 weeks and have totally healthy babies! Just talk to your doctor about your preferences and get their opinion on if you can wait
Im due 8/17/21 Im super nervous I’m only 20yrs old and just lost my job and live in crowded household. Me and the father want to move in together to be able to nurture and keep it but I’m conflicted on what to do. I personally don’t feel peace aborting it. Any advice?
Hey Manasesli I’m due very close to you on the 27th of August! Congratulations ❤️ know that you don’t have to have it all figured out! Know you are not alone also! I will be praying for you and the father and the baby! I can imagine that being a confusing and frustrating time and I am thankful you want to keep the baby, even though it will be difficult it is worth it. There is also the option of adoption if that’s something you were interested in. It’s totally normal to be nervous and none of us have it all together trust me! You are not alone!
Abortion is never ever the solution. A child is the most precious gift that a woman can have. You will see that when you have the little bundle of joy in your arms. Wishing you the very best. 🙏🏻😊
