Very true. Fixing ourselves can really help in cutting out unnecessary heartache especially during the dating era. There will always be drama and heartache regardless but working on ourselves and learning about ourselves and being secure in ourselves can spare us from alot of dating issues. This is true. I’m 27 and I have realized that by having experienced child abuse I was attracting men that were emotionally unavailable. Be careful with telling them upfront about your brokenness. You will catch men who are in the market for a broken woman for the wrong reasons. You are healing from your brokenness don’t claim that word “damage” move on put a “ed” on that word.

Thank you for making this video, it’s my birthday tomorrow, turning 38 and I usually don’t pay attention to noise. But I was starting to get those alpha man videos suggested in my UA-cam feed, and the message was getting me in my feelings. I’m more afraid of being with the wrong man or a man who I treat the wrong way, than I am of being single. Preach Queen! I am a divorced mother of a grown daughter. I know that I bring value to any relationship. I own my home, I do for myself and what I want, I can buy. However, when the perfect man for me, and notice I said perfect for me, came along, I was open and ready to enjoy every moment. Am I beautiful, yes I am, but I'm not always pretty, hell no, and that's cool with me. I have to agree that I did allow my past relationship failure to determine my behavior and that didn't allow me to be open to receive what God has for me. The time by myself allowed me to reflect on my mental health and the mistakes that I made. I will not say that the demise of my relationship was all my fault; however, I did contribute to it. Once I stopped being bitter and started to take some responsibility and be accountable for my actions, things changed. I was like you and didn't ever ask for anything but I found that asking is not always a bad thing. Asking and being a user are two different things. I also found its ok to say no. There is a balance and I think I've found it. Men do like to be the provider and they like to know that we women need them. I have had a few flings in my recent past and it was fun but that's not where I am in my life. I am with someone now, who is very wealthy, but he and I both know I don't need his coints, and I do say no when I want to. But guess what, when something is broken in my house, I call him. When I need to install a TV, I call, when I need my garage door requires attention, I call and each time, he comes. I don't need his money, but Im not afraid to ask and I know that he would provide. I've realized that yes I am independent, but Im not stupid. Can I install a TV, sure can, but I won't. This man has been in my life for a while and no, he has never seen me on the toilet. I close the door. Have I seen him in the barhroom yes. We do have a certain place, for a lack of a better word, and there are roles and I value them. My mom, for instance, has not taken a trash bag out or pumped gas for as long as I can remember. My thoughts about a relationship may not be well received by other women, but it works for me. I feel they each woman should find the formula that works for them. Like it or not, there are female/male roles and each woman must choose how to navigate those waters. PS and BTW, I can't have more children and more important than that, if I could, I wouldn't. Bottom line, you must put time and effort to know who you are and what you want and more importantly, know what you don't want. It's ok to shop around, but when you're tired of shopping, know for sure what will make you happy and don't settle for foolishness.

I will never forget, I use to work with a (recently divorced) middle aged Chinese lady and many times I would overhear her speaking to some other ladies about relationships. They were all looking to find a companion/husband. I remember the 'independent' ladies being so proud of having great careers and money and being in charge. I remember her saying she did not mind following or being lead by a strong man. She said her personality was not that strong so having her man in charge did not bother her. The other ladies sort of looked down on her outlook and gave her the . "I would not let any man be over me talk'. Well fast-forward 1.5 years later. I was invited to her wedding. He was a high profile guy (millionaire). She managed to have one more child and quit her job to be a stay at home mom. The other ladies... Still working and searching to this day... Now I am not saying what her lifestyle is for everyone, and of course who know if she is totally happy, however, she got what she set out to get. That is the most important lesson.
And maybe that was the soultion for HER personality type. But its not a "one shoe fits all" type of thing. There are women who are nice, submissive etc...and they are STILL single too. I really hate that the solution seems to be stroking a man's ego by being less than him. I guess men who are advanced in age and looking for a much younger girl are actually trying to convince themselves that they themselves are still young and got it. Its harder for a man to see himself aging and stopping being with same strength.
CLOWN SHIT , The reason for the last 10,000 years successful older men with resources, experience & stability seek younger women is to have children . Human females between 14 to 29 , have the highest quality of reproductive eggs . But around 30 the quality starts to become not as potent . By 35 degradation in quality begins. By 40 it becomes risky to reproduce . My point is proven when my aunt at 42 struggled to concieve a child . Then when she did get pregnant at 44 she had to abort it when she learned the possibility of it having birth defects . She would later choose to under go a process to find the singular decent quality egg in her womb . An then have another woman age 24 carry her child into pregnancy .

Love all those tips 💕paying attention to detail was always taught to me as a kid make sure your feet aren’t crusty,toenails aren’t to long, get a pedicure and maintain in between, make sure your shaved and lotioned up, oral hygiene floss daily make sure your teeth aren’t yellow and you don’t have good or lipstick stuck in your teeth and of course never have crusty lips also strings on your clothes make sure those are cut off and never have crust in your eyes lol just some details I always pay attention to💕

I think sometimes mature women feel like they have to compete with these women young enough to be our daughters. It doesn’t make sense. Back in the day a young girl wouldn’t dare date a man who was her”granddaddy’s age” and vice versa. This is what happens when you spend over a decade on a narcissist. Wasted time and energy. Years you can’t ever get back. Now that I’m almost 40 I’m very very picky about who I allow into my life. I’d rather be single and with my cat than entertain any shenanigans of any kind. Either you’re in it for the long haul and marriage is the ultimate goal or forget it. I got to a point I’m happy being with or without someone in my life and if I have to spend the rest of my years alone I’m actually not too worried about it. This is true. I’m 27 and I have realized that by having experienced child abuse I was attracting men that were emotionally unavailable. I think that is definitely something that everyone should heal from is their past relationships. The masculine energy part is true as well. It’s because even though you can do it for yourself you should allow him to be the MAN in your life. Femininity IS everything!

Be careful with telling them upfront about your brokenness. You will catch men who are in the market for a broken woman for the wrong reasons. You are healing from your brokenness don’t claim that word “damage” move on put a “ed” on that word.

Preach Queen! I am a divorced mother of a grown daughter. I know that I bring value to any relationship. I own my home, I do for myself and what I want, I can buy. However, when the perfect man for me, and notice I said perfect for me, came along, I was open and ready to enjoy every moment. Am I beautiful, yes I am, but I'm not always pretty, hell no, and that's cool with me. I have to agree that I did allow my past relationship failure to determine my behavior and that didn't allow me to be open to receive what God has for me. The time by myself allowed me to reflect on my mental health and the mistakes that I made. I will not say that the demise of my relationship was all my fault; however, I did contribute to it. Once I stopped being bitter and started to take some responsibility and be accountable for my actions, things changed. I was like you and didn't ever ask for anything but I found that asking is not always a bad thing. Asking and being a user are two different things. I also found its ok to say no. There is a balance and I think I've found it. Men do like to be the provider and they like to know that we women need them. I have had a few flings in my recent past and it was fun but that's not where I am in my life. I am with someone now, who is very wealthy, but he and I both know I don't need his coints, and I do say no when I want to. But guess what, when something is broken in my house, I call him. When I need to install a TV, I call, when I need my garage door requires attention, I call and each time, he comes. I don't need his money, but Im not afraid to ask and I know that he would provide. I've realized that yes I am independent, but Im not stupid. Can I install a TV, sure can, but I won't. This man has been in my life for a while and no, he has never seen me on the toilet. I close the door. Have I seen him in the barhroom yes. We do have a certain place, for a lack of a better word, and there are roles and I value them. My mom, for instance, has not taken a trash bag out or pumped gas for as long as I can remember. My thoughts about a relationship may not be well received by other women, but it works for me. I feel they each woman should find the formula that works for them. Like it or not, there are female/male roles and each woman must choose how to navigate those waters. PS and BTW, I can't have more children and more important than that, if I could, I wouldn't. Bottom line, you must put time and effort to know who you are and what you want and more importantly, know what you don't want. It's ok to shop around, but when you're tired of shopping, know for sure what will make you happy and don't settle for foolishness.

I will never forget, I use to work with a (recently divorced) middle aged Chinese lady and many times I would overhear her speaking to some other ladies about relationships. They were all looking to find a companion/husband. I remember the 'independent' ladies being so proud of having great careers and money and being in charge. I remember her saying she did not mind following or being lead by a strong man. She said her personality was not that strong so having her man in charge did not bother her. The other ladies sort of looked down on her outlook and gave her the . "I would not let any man be over me talk'.
Well fast-forward 1.5 years later. I was invited to her wedding. He was a high profile guy (millionaire). She managed to have one more child and quit her job to be a stay at home mom.
The other ladies... Still working and searching to this day...
Now I am not saying what her lifestyle is for everyone, and of course who know if she is totally happy, however, she got what she set out to get. That is the most important lesson.
And maybe that was the soultion for HER personality type. But its not a "one shoe fits all" type of thing. There are women who are nice, submissive etc...and they are STILL single too. I really hate that the solution seems to be stroking a man's ego by being less than him. Its 2020, women are changing their standards and men are usually intimidated by that because they are used to treating and seeing women as inferior 🤷♀️

This is what happens when you spend over a decade on a narcissist. Wasted time and energy. Years you can’t ever get back. Now that I’m almost 40 I’m very very picky about who I allow into my life. I’d rather be single and with my cat than entertain any shenanigans of any kind. Either you’re in it for the long haul and marriage is the ultimate goal or forget it. I got to a point I’m happy being with or without someone in my life and if I have to spend the rest of my years alone I’m actually not too worried about it.
