Keep ‘em coming. Never gets boring watching new tra4m videos. I have a couple out there myself. I wouldn’t doubt that traxxas comes out with a version 2 of this. They did it with the 1/18 latrax. Version 2 came with full set of bearings installed.It took a couple years but they did.Myself knowing this I didn’t wait. This thing is way to cool and great out of the box.

Thanks Corey. I have the white one also. Brass weights on order. Light kit installed. No fall leaves on the ground here yet in central Florida tho!!😂. Thanks man!!
Man I wish I was in Florida! You’re gonna love that brass. Check out that eco power 640 servo really made a difference turning those heavy wheels

Have you thought about testing out the heavier suspension springs that Traxxas sells for the TRX4M? I have a theory that this will help with lateral body roll which causes it to flip easily. If you lift the left or right side of the truck, the other side definitely sinks down really far as it seems the suspension is too light. I ordered both levels of higher springs to test this out.
Hey Sean! That’s an excellent idea! I’ll look into it and see what I can find. Parts are so scares right now I really want the bearing kit. Have you seen it anywhere?
@@goreyboggs I got an email from Traxxas that my heavier springs have shipped. I’ll let you know if they help at all. I’ll try to replicate your ramp test, but I don’t have a anglemonitor (or whatever it’s called!).

I think the SCX24 comparison is a bit unfair since the TRX4M is 1/18 scale which is a good advantage and part of why it's better out of the box.
Question though: are the Defender and Bronco bodies swappable? I'd assume you would need to swap out the bumpers, but besides that can you just switch bodies?
Yea looks like just need the bumpers swapped from what I remember. But I’ll take a closer look
@@goreyboggs Please let me know when you find out for sure. I'm a sucker for the Bronco body, but my 1/10 TRX4 is also a Bronco, so I'd like to have a Defender to mix it up. But I know I'll also want to switch it to a Bronco sometimes.
@@BlueOvals24 Yep I just checked it out. You’re gonna just need the bumpers. I’m guessing they come with the body kit.
