I just got the 7th gen (128gb) and I’m really looking forward to it. iPods are so underrated. Hadn’t had one since the 6th gen when I dropped it in water when I was 14 lol.. Going to be very handy instead of using my iPhone 12 for everything

I've waited for the 7th generation iPod Touch for a few years now. I plan on buying it, but I wish it had a 10 MP camera and 4K video. Overall, it's a huge upgrade from my iPod Classic.

The battery started to die on mine permanently. The battery only lasts for 20 minutes at a time now. :(

@Protrixer obviously the color is different. that doesn't change the fact that it looks like the 2012 model. they should bring this design back to the iphone, but without the bezels around the screen (like the iphone x). that would be beautiful...
@Protrixer It shouldn't. The iPhone 7 design looks cheap and low quality compared to the iPhone X - Why would you want a device that looks old?

I have been using a 5th gen ipod since November 2015, I wasn't sure what apple device I should go to next, but now that this came out, I will definitely get the 7th gen. It will for sure be strange going from ios 9 to 12.

I have a i -pod touch (6) . I 've had it for 5 month's. & its not even full of music, video or games yet. it has , 32 gigabit. It all depends on how you use it. The guy at the apple store told me to charge your i - pod at night like your cell phone . any way the battery tends to last a very long time the first time i used it it lasted over 6 hours , so i would say it depends on how much youbuse it. there are times it last me the whole day. so yes. this is a great i-pod for, children, teens, or people who just want it for music.
I was worried that the 7th gen iPod touch would remove the headphone jack but glad it didn't. It might happen to the 8th gen in the future
Apple discontinued the iPod touch. So sadly we’ll never see an 8.
IPods are great for 5 year olds who ask you for an iPhone. Put a case on it they will never know.
iPod 7 is the same as iPod 6, except with upgraded hardware. I still got iPod 5 that I have been using since 2012.

Exactly, I was concerned about the battery issue myself.
The battery life 🔋 is always the first thing to expire with these apple products, and the iPod coincidentally always seems to lose its battery capacity right around the 2-year mark.

Really liking my iPod 7 way faster then my iPod 6 other than that pretty much the exact same as my 6
I did not think that Apple would ever release another iPod. You can get a cheap throwaway Android phone for about $10 and a 128GB sd card for about $20 and never activate it to do everything this iPod touch can do. You can even use that device as a phone also and save yourself $170. I will quit my rant now because I am still bitter about getting my 3rd generation iPod touch stolen from me. I loved that thing.

Not as bad as the 6 does. I haven’t noticed that much heat from my 7th than with the 6.

1:02 While you mentioned you can use group FaceTime with up to 32 participants you could do that with the iPod 6 also. You should have clarified the iPod 6 is limited to just 2 faces out of 32 faces.

I had a 6th gen ipod touch worked for a few months and then when i charged it the apple icon flashes at me and doesnt turn on fully i dont have it on me currently i gave it to my cousin shes trying to fix it but no luck maybe it was a bad batch of an ipod i got. I had the 5g and am switching cuz no apps support it anymore. People make fun of me for having a phone but also using an ipod, But I have an android and can use things like ft. Also cuz they have a butt load of storage and are tiny which is a good thing for working out. AND THEY HAVE HEADPHONE JACKS!

I picked up the 6th gen 2 months ago for £79 in excellent condition, I think that’s a pretty good deal since I just bought it to mess around with. I might get the 7th gen as I enjoy smaller sized devices in contrast to my main daily driver the Xs max.

I just recommend the 6th gen I don’t have one but one f my friend has iPod 7th and one has 6th and I’ve compared and tbh there’s not much difference although it is now hard to found the 6th if you do it’s proabebly cheap and you lucky I reconnect the 6th but you do you guys and don’t listen to me lmao

So I have a jailbroken iPhone X and so I can't play Animal Crossing Pocket Camp on it and Pokemon Go... I'm thinking of picking up an ipod touch just for those two apps (first world problems) How much of a real difference would it make for me between the 6th and 7th.
Six is slower and doesnt get iOS 13 while 7 has the same CPU as the iPhone 7 and has a headphone jack and is easy to use with one hand
