Have a look from 1:10. Doohan is the active part here. Is is making his way to Criville. He is neutral in language and appearance. He shakes C´s hand and asks if he is ok. He says: "That's the way it goes right?” and gives C a chance to show signs of responsibility, concern, blame or maybe even shame. C does not do this and M therefor starts to make his way back to his part of the garage. Then C suddenly take initiative and it is very clear from his very first words that he wants to explain circumstances to D, that takes responsibility away from himself. Well, that right there would make me pretty mad if I was in D´s shoes. And rightly so, I think. C is behaving as a very immature person with no regard at all for others safety or interest. An asshole. Maybe D also is, in some regards, I wouldn't doubt it, but how C behaves here, I think says a bit about his personality and it sure doesn't do him any good (if is important to him to be perceived as something else than an asshole).

Shows the man the way he lives his life ,yeah he could flip out but he just shook his hand to say no hard feelings mate
Criville wanted to fight anyway even though Mick was a gentleman and Criville was at fault
TRUTH SEEKER. Doohan a gentleman??? Maybe. But you mean all the politics about getting the bike Criville could not to compete with the same conditions??
The real problem was Criville was too much of a gentleman...if not, he would have beaten Doohan in 96 instead of waiting ‘till 99...
It’s too easy to believe what tv sells you...but go inti the facts and you’ll see all the things Doohan made in the back to avoid Crivillé have the same chances...
@@checa160 weren't they both on the same bike??? As for what you think may have happened, the stats say it all. Doohan 134 starts, 54 wins, 95 podiums, 58 poles, 46 fastest laps, 5 championships. Mick was awesome. Managed to tap him on the shoulder at Donny on the slowing down lap. The guy is a Racer.
i love when creville does a tsk tsk tsk and doohan says ..hey im not skippy!!! haha ..either way thats racing! i thought that was pretty diplomatic compared to other motor racing!!!

Doohan 100% right , Marquez should watch this and learn ... spanish riders look a lot like
Doohan was willing to let it go until Criville opened his mouth.
Mick shoulda put one his chin..but no one always cool calm and collected. Legend
Mick was the bowling ball when he first started out in 500's.
Anyone who has ever ridden around Eastern Creek will know how easy it is for that last hairpin to suck you in and you overcook it going in. Which is exactly what Criville did. He fucked up, plain and simple and used the rear off Doohan's bike as a brake.
I was in the crowd and they were ready to murder Criville when we saw it on the sidescreens. The things they said about him I can't repeat here.
Also got to watch Max Biaggi in the 250s wrap up the 96 world championship that day. He was blisteringly fast.
Garry McCoy won the 125CC race.
Good to see Mick having he's say .
This happens when the slowest must win.
You need to find the stuff that Matt Oxley put in the press after this race. Oxley had a knack for firing up the riders.
What does "KNACK" mean here...?
Sort of like " really good at '" something.
Spaniards still sobbing in their sangria. Ole' Doohan.
Estamos cansados de ganar títulos desde 2010
Muy bien. Calientes y se ponen a debatir tranquilamente. Un diez para los dos
Doohan clearly succeeded in pushing Criville out of the way in a very dubious move and likewise, Criville decide it was time for payback and decided to take Doohan out... and himself. These two had it in for each other all season. Both were in the wrong but Doohan had the bigger ego.
and the bigger skill

Your perception of racing should be don’t fight me as I’m the number one in honda. Yeah because Alex did so well when he became the #1 rider.. he was a failure, and a great example of Spanish riders having dogshit between their ears. Doohan dominated him basically on 1 leg, which adds to the embarrassing failure that is Creville. I don’t recognise his world title year. Dude was never a champion.

You cant compare the two of them. Doohan was/is a living legend and a top bloke. Stoner is/was a whinny kid who complained when ever he didn't get his way. If Doohan had the same issues he would have sorted it out.
@ripple effect thanks I needed a laugh.
@ripple effect it's deep seated, not deepseeded.
@ripple effect and Brandon Myers, OK I will explain why I went for Jamie eyles.... He posted a totally vile racist attack on a fellow poster, it was truly horrible. I then looked into him and found he had stalked the other poster, saying dreadful things about him and his family on the blokes facebook page. I reacted and yes, stalked Jamie eyles. He used his own real name, had a facbook page and even showed his place of employment. By constantly outing him, he removed all his vile rantings and removed his facebook page. He was a total scumbag. That is why I got so triggered. If you wish, you will see that my comments on UA-cam are usually humerous and lighthearted. But I could not standby and let him humilliate and stalk that other poster. The references to piss and shit were quotes from his "Poems" to his victim. I had to show him that he was transparent to attack of his own and he disappeared.

I remember the races, but I never saw this before. Creville "tutt-tutting" at Doohan, and Mick says "I'm not Skippy you know!" Did Spain ever see Skippy? I know it was one of the most widely sold Australian TV shows ever, outside of Neighbours.

Fuck, those were the days haha

Se que no te gusta quedar segundo!!! Crivi, Lorenzo, Marquez..the beginning of all was Crivi!!
Crivi was the begining of NOTHING. He owed all his luck to the fact of Sito Pons having the Big Bang NSR 92, (so superior), and then, to the fact of so many street bikes selling in Spain, And also REPSOL requiesting a spaniard.

@@Mistiff The notion that only them who have better particular skills than an individual, is allowed to make critical comments about the particular individual, was dismissed as a viable argument (among intellectuals) a few thousands years ago. It´s up there with the notion that only opinions that yourself are in favor of should be included within freedom of speech. As far as Criville, one could argue that it is within the expected competence of someone with the salary he was paid, to able to communicate in the language that is called english without being misunderstood.
