Hi Nick! I was at the Nashville Ryman show a couple of nights ago, and I can confirm--you sounded A-MA-ZING on those drums! The whole band seemed to be having such a great time playing together. A great vibe and energy was radiating from that stage! I really hope and pray there might be more touring after the new record is released! 🤞🙏
Great to see this. They sounded amazing in Atlanta the other night. When we talked, I forgot to asked you about the ride. I could tell you were playing SABIAN but wasn’t sure if that was the new Todd Sucherman signature ride. But this explains it.
Awesome video, Nick. I had been wondering about your cymbal setup for this tour. Saw your "soundcheck" video from a few days ago and loved the array of sounds you were getting. So glad you're able to play these guys.
As a longtime Sabian and Evans player, it's awesome to see you're choosing these for your recent touring setups!! I'll have to get one of the 18" AA Raw Bell crashes, the Stratus stack and the Zen China in the future. That DW kit is magnificent, and I've also started using your signature Promark sticks. Awesome setup!!
Hey Nick I have a question. If you were to buy a micro kit from sweetwater, which one would you get? I'm looking at the sonor bop 18" kit for gigging in small venues. We play mostly 70s 80 some 90s rock and country. Love you stuff man! I value your opinion very much. Thank you so much!
Hey there! You can’t go wrong with Sonor gear. Is it the AQ2 you’re looking at? Those are fantastic. There are others for sure. Gretsch makes very nice small drums. Happy shopping!!!
I’ve never tried but I bet they would. They hold on tight and work well on die cast hoops so I bet they would be good on S hoops as well. Give em a try!
Now, did that shell pack come with a match and snare you had to buy that separately😂 Nice to see when it comes to your own drums you’re part of the DW family.
Love it Nick! Thank YOU! And Nate too!
Getting to play with Gilbert and Sheehan is incredible! You rock Nick!
It is indeed. Thank you!
Wooo 🔥
Just got done watching y’all in Nashville, for sure was an amazing show, also didnt know you were a guitar player.
Keyboards, too. He is quite the musical Renaissance man.
Great show in Nashville, and at the Ryman! Perfect 👍
Thanks for coming!
Thanks for sharing Nick! Been a long time Sabian user-they have NEVER let me down! Love your drumming sir!🙏🏻 🥁
Nate! Behind the scene people are so underappreciated. Thank you Nate for making Nick sound a lil better!
He is fantastic
State of the art! Beauty! TY Nick!

Beautiful kit. You’re playing Evans heads now?

@@NDVirgilio yes sir the AQ2 marine white. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Sumer breeze - Brazil ❤
Nick is Great, Can we put a drum camera on him !?!
Yes!
bien nick! sin die cast...
👌👍👍👍
👍🤘🙏
este es el kit que traerás a España Nick.?
It will be similar but not that exact kit
Evans heads Nick. What happened to Aquarian?
Just changing it up and loving what the folks at Evans create.
Do those dampers fit a s-hoop rim?
I’ve never tried but I bet they would. They hold on tight and work well on die cast hoops so I bet they would be good on S hoops as well. Give em a try!
@@NDVirgilio i will Nick, thnx
Same here the regular DW felt beaters are superior and have nice weight and balance
They do make a difference. Thanks for watching!
Are those sticks close like 5b or 7b or 5a...
Slightly bigger than the 5A.
A bit bigger than 5A, longer taper
@@NDVirgilio and of course i cant get those here in Finland🤦🤦🤬🤬
why in USA you use one tom less?
I am really more comfortable that way. Sometimes it is fun to have the 2nd rack tom but I think I like the single rack tom best.
Felt beaters on pedals? Not so punchy for double bass parts.
He's not really a metal drummer. Gives you a nice feather. Let's you play with more dynamic.
Every time Nick speaks I spend money on drum gear
Now, did that shell pack come with a match and snare you had to buy that separately😂
