ugh...this is just so good that the last 48 hours, i had this on repeat. this video doesn't do enough justice of what their relationship was truly like, but my heart breaks anyways because cook didn't deserve that. he didn't deserve any of the shit he went through. yes he made bad choices, bad decisions, he could *_have_* been a worse person, but he mainly did it out of love. nobody took the time to get to know him better. he's like an onion with many layers, you have to peel back to understand him. i would sell my mf soul just for 2 more seasons of this generation. my favorite generation. euphoria will NEVER have the hold over me like skins does. i discovered it when i was 16 and didn't get it, rewatching it last month, it is so god DAMN relatable and for that reason alone, i will always love this show and recommend it to anyone who needs a good cry. thank you for this video and thank you for the creators or skins for leaving me emotionally scarred where i can't fill this hole.

I always felt like Freddie and Effy being together on the show was probably the obvious safer option but I felt like Cook was the only person who could match and/or really understand how Effy was because of all the experiences he had created his character and similarly the same with Effy, I feel like it was poetic that he was the one to essentially try avenge both Effy and Freddie. But the character of Cook overall I felt just was one of chaos but sometimes controlled and sometimes too much raw chaos but at the end of the day it matched Effy who was mainly controlled chaos with some moments of being on the edge as well. In the beginning Cook wasn’t ready for Effy whereas and she felt that hence why she got upset at the other girl I forgot what her name was when she went after Cook, then I felt the longer the series went on and you understood why Cook was the way he was you could see him being a better fit for Effy than a tamer Freddie who might have loved her just as much but couldn’t offer her something that she needed
