First discovered WOTE 5 years back, and I have just come back to dive into a nostalgia trip, heart breaking to hear Mike sadly passed away 3 days before I rediscovered them again, his mark on the world and the people’s hearts that listened will live on.

It's been a year and I've only known about Mike's passing, yesterday. My girlfriend's little brother told me about it while we were in the car. When he said, "Beard Guy", I was having a bad feeling about it like it's my brother who passed. My heart feels the pain for the loss yet we have to move on. Listening to your songs back in the years 2013-2016 made my life easier being away from my home. Your music always made big impact into my life and to many more. To Mike. 🥃
I am continually amazed by this band. For years I’ve followed them. Stellar music and talent. This song continues to be my favorite that they’ve written. What an amazing bunch of people who have music in their veins. RIP Mike.
This is just a beautiful piece of art what you guys do. In the future when historians (a few thousand years ahead) look at music of our time period I think it will be the Walk Off The Earth's performances that truly amaze them the most and think of them as that one band who really stepped out of the box and created something more than just music. Way to go guys!
I never comment on youtube videos but this one deserves it. This is one of the most complex music videos I have ever seen, not to mention the song and execution is flawless and amazing. Planning this video and directing it must have been a true challenge but also for the guys to learn a whole new song that actually makes not much sense when performing and playing, when we see the final result it is a masterpiece. I agree with one of the last comments that mentions the backwards part of the video (performed by Marshall) that´s an amazing touch. Walk off the Earth has become today my favorite band, keep the good work!

I remember going to one of their shows before they were big. My friends band opened for them, and there was 10 people in the audience. This was about 4-5 years ago
When our oldest was in about 7th grade, his band director showed the class this amazing video. Our son shared it with the family that night. It was the first we'd ever seen or heard of Walk Off the Earth and we've been hooked ever since. I look back on this video now and it's easy to see why. I'm grateful I was able to meet them all one day (before Mike's passing) and thank them for inspiring me to pursue a career in music. Yes, with a unique style, exceptional talent and amazing vocalists whose voices compliment each other to perfection. I can think of only a handful of groups who have achieved this in this genre. Jefferson Airplane in the late 60's, also the Mama's and the Papa's are in many ways the precursors to Mac in my opinion. No, with the egos and the drama. Mac had too much baggage with the ex McVies working together as a recently split couple and the whole Nicks and Buckingham soap opera. Blah, blah, blah. Granted, their drama inspired their best songs, but... meh. Ego drama. WOTE appear to actually enjoy each other's company. Mac was inspired from pain, with a love for music. WOTE seem inspired from a pure love of the musical craft and have a positive vibe. Interesting comment. Didn't look at it from this perspective until now. Thanks for sharing.

It was filmed in one continuous take, but I doubt they only did it once. Some of their other, simpler vids indicate that they do multiple takes (Natalie and Drag Me Down come to mind). The "single take" simply means that it was one continuous shot, which is played at various speeds and in reverse as needed.
+EJCTV I just want a collaboration. Neither band needs to deal with having 5 extra people to incorporate into the show or have their own performance undercut by the other, but they would be cool to see together.

I LOVE this song (and the video) and I'm old enough to think they remind me of Fleetwood Mac. Anyone else? I really like that they're Canadian (and from Ontario)! Got the whole CD from I-tunes, really like it.

Yes, with a unique style, exceptional talent and amazing vocalists whose voices compliment each other to perfection. I can think of only a handful of groups who have achieved this in this genre. Jefferson Airplane in the late 60's, also the Mama's and the Papa's are in many ways the precursors to Mac in my opinion.
No, with the egos and the drama. Mac had too much baggage with the ex McVies working together as a recently split couple and the whole Nicks and Buckingham soap opera. Blah, blah, blah. Granted, their drama inspired their best songs, but... meh. Ego drama.
WOTE appear to actually enjoy each other's company. Mac was inspired from pain, with a love for music. WOTE seem inspired from a pure love of the musical craft and have a positive vibe.

Sugar Ray Agreed. Rumours, on the whole, is perfect and is one of my favourite LP's. They could never match it, which is why their subsequent releases paled in comparison. Then again, how could anyone produce something better? It's impossible.

It was filmed in one continuous take, but I doubt they only did it once. Some of their other, simpler vids indicate that they do multiple takes (Natalie and Drag Me Down come to mind). The "single take" simply means that it was one continuous shot, which is played at various speeds and in reverse as needed.
