Now that I immersed myself and Experience the expanse it’s hard to imagine anybody else other than Frankie Adams playing Bobby Draper I say that with all the cast members especially Shores Aghdashloo Who plays Chrisjen Avasarala She is the best
Fully agree. She embodies the character perfectly. The casting for this show is perfect, or at least damn well near it. I watched the series over the years and finally got a chance to read all the books last year. It's just so fantastic to see a faithful adaptation in every regard.
On a one on one showdown between Bobbie Draper of the expanse or Clara Dune of the Mandalorian who would win I’m betting on Bobbie because she’s a martian marine
I don't want 7,8,9, I want more material from 1-6. I want two things,, a few expansions on some characters that should be more important (for example Liang Walker leading up to meeting with drummer, and then behind his ships scenes leading up to their ultimate sacrifice) , and I want a "remake" with a lot of additional scenes and probably some reorganization of existing scenes to make it work out. Particularly season 6 was a letdown with so much compression,, but the reality is that by season 4 they started compressing too much, forcing too much weight on a few moments to somehow be the whole story,,, making it too important that we read the books even when they are not the same story. Bobby is a great example, where too many of her scenes force you to just assume her posture and position, you just see bobby, she is there, but you don't get to see her approach each bit of plot, you just need to assume and go with her little one line.
the last battle is also something that could be approached from more angles,, possibly with more episodes,, to result in a completed work. It's a sad truth that the team tried to do years worth of work in a few months. There's too many times when they hoped something was a good adequate camera scene, but they needed to find out where it was weak, and go back and rework the scenes and lines but they decided just to go with it instead. (Every major industry needs updates and changes,, some need to push back the launch date, but shows could have a release, and then a 1.1, and a 1.2, etc., I think they should do it)
This was amazing. HUGE Frankie / Bobbie fan. Looking forward to what she does next for sure.
