Really great to see you uploading again. Also, this is super useful. I heard Omega Red was tough to fix paint rub on, so I'm glad you used this as the example.
How to u reattach the disc hinge in the shoulder after u remove the shoulder from it? Like Im assuming ure able to remove it cuz u cut some peg with ur knife
I've had so much trouble trying to get the shoulder disk hinges out of my Marvel Legends Spymaster. I can't tell if this figure uses butterfly joints. What should I do for figures that don't have butterfly joints?
Why do you guys cut the shoulders? Won't you have to glue it again? Jw. I normally just heat it up and pop off the swivel piece and dremel along the swivel.
Omega red was a PAIN! It's still a very new body and I've only seen 1 picture of the inside so it was a guess on where to drill. Very awesome mold but kinda hard to pop open and put back.
Thanks Brock! Really helpful.

This is really going to help me out, I’ve always hated the paint rub on my customs.
Welcome back Brock!
Saludos.
Thanks this is definitely the thing I was worried about most.
Gonna share this to my customs group

Hi Brock, can the shoulder peg be popped off the butterfly joint without cutting it? I want to swap shoulders/arms on some wolverines
Hello. Someone suggested that it could be done but I’ve not done it.
what do you use to fill in the holes you drilled?
Apoxie putty. Check out the tutorial videos on here. I go over all the basics 👊🏻
Great vid Brock! Perfect timing, I was using an Omega Red for a custom of mine and was wondering about the butterfly joint paint rub.
Take off the middle post inside the chest cavity too
To avoid having to crack use a exacto knife and dremel it’s pretty dangerous lol

I may have to try that instead next time.
Who is it going to be
I think either Sabretooth or Thunderball
Thanks for the heads up, I would have been pretty upset if I drilled right into those butterfly joints
Hello are you doing commissions
Not at the moment
