- The VW Jetta packs a punch with its ambient lights in the interior. Overall it does a nice job illuminating the interior of the vehicle and the exterior lights aren't too bad either. I have a GLI. Red ambient light looks best to match the door sills and stitching. No fogs on mine but don't need them.

Honestly! I have the SEL and there's even room in the door where they could have added it as well!!
I have the execline aka SEL in habanero orange and love the car, the only issues are beats audio speak buzz and rough transmission at low RPM

Stylish looking car Nolan. I have owned a couple of early Jetta's but sadly we no longer get it in the UK.
It definitely is. That's a shame and really surprises me. Do you know why they don't offer them?
@@PrimeAutotainment In 2006 VW sold 48,000 Jetta's but by 2018 it had dropped to 4,000 for that year. The practicality of hatchbacks plus the rise of the crossover/SUV likely the reasons for pulling the plug in Europe (not just UK). Just different market requirements :-)

Whats the difference between halogen and LED in the snow?
With the LED being white...it almost blends in with the snow, especially when it’s blowing and windy right at the vehicle. It still really helps considering how much more they illuminate but the yellowish halogen helps you see things better when it’s whiteout conditions. I’d still rather have the white LED over halogen though. Some people have argued it in other videos so I thought I’d mention it lol
LEDs are brighter and will probably work better. Some people like theorizing about the incandescents melting snow but that only applies to the low and high beam headlights
I got the R-Line, after seeing this video I’m starting to regret not getting the sel

Looks like vw needs headlight help from Mazda..my Mazda’s cx30 headlights are powerful, clear led’s that move with my steering wheel.
It amazes me that VW still has the same volume knob with the power symbol that still spins with the knob, they can engineer but they don't pay any attention to detail

Yep I’m not sure if they turn off when headlights turn off or if they’re just dim enough to not really notice. I can’t remember for sure

just got my 2020 jetta sel premium, I feel really bad for people that bought the 19 just for the 20 to come out 10 months later and have a bunch of new features xD like heated rear seats, remote start as standard and wireless charging to name a few.

Why the hell is vw not adding this to there other cars.
Cus it's a feature that appeals to mostly teens and 90% of teens buy the cheapest model to wrap around a tree within 3 months, then cry when they get stuck with a 1995 Chevy Malibu after.
Its a stupid feature, doesn't look that good, and the LED light strips WILL die eventually... So in 4-6 years you'll need to pay someone THOUSANDS to take your car from you for about a weeks worth of work, to tare out your entire dashboard and door panels just to replace the lights so they stop looking scuffed and half flickering out like every other Dodge's tail lights.

Tolteca 82 have this car w no mods besides wheels and have smoked civics in a race
