@@12yfilms you are a superstar thank you 🙏 Ursa used to have it so I don’t see why they wouldn’t pop it in, the L mount glass is fantastic! Thank you for being awesome 🤩
@@Sam-higgins BTW you should probably put Pyxis in the title of the post so it gets more streamlined. Also, they are now requiring changing user name to a real name, otherwise the post will not be visible.
@@Sam-higgins I'm talking about the Blackmagic forum post, it just says "AF/Rack focus feature request with single auto focus" I think you should specify for Pyxis :)
@ oooooo I get you now!! Sorry dude didn’t click on that! That’s a great suggestion I will jump on that tomorrow. Sorry for the confusion I’ve been on some really long shoot days & I have hotel brain 😂
I would love to get a Pyxis (since I am already an L mount user with three Panasonic cameras), but it seems like all the agencies in the USA want people to shoot on an FX6. Anyway, appreciate the video and your enthusiasm. Hopefully BMD will give the Pyxis the ability to preset autofocus points.
@@marin_real_estate_photography thank you 🙏 it’s vey similar in the UK depending on what’s needed to be produced. I do think a change is on the horizon.
@@bensmart3569 great suggestion! I’ve tried the smtp keys in (private FB live) as there is a dedicated page for streaming, but maybe a video live to UA-cam through the Pyxis direct?
@@ginnodizon6551 I have wondered this myself as the contact points & program is there, it would literally be a simple tracking algorithm that most devices including webcams have. Granted it probably wouldn’t be great to begin with but why they’ve never entertained the idea escapes most people.
@@GabrielScindian it’s not for me but certainly an option, an expensive option. Similarly there is the smart air 3 which is far more affordable but Lidar has range limitations too. Thanks for the comment
I just signed into the forum and replied "I second this." Hope it gets enough traction.

That would be great. I supported your post on the forum.
@@juliankrakow amazing thank you! From what I hear they are working quite hard on different firmware bits 😎

Well done Sir!!🎥🎬
@@madhousedmi6047 thank you very much 😊🤩🙏
Good stuff. I have the BMPCC OG and even that has a good push to focus, with the right lens. Keep up the good work.
@@daylight5500 great to hear! Thank you for the kind words 😊🙏
Looks great! Real difference between the lens mounts but L mount seems really usable! 😎😎

actually at this moment they can really add an autotracking focus in their technology just dont know why they dont want it.
