Great video Todd. It’s cool to see what other people like for tools. Hope life is treating you ok. Glad to see a update. Hope theirs more to come. I always said your build videos were the best. It was always fun watching your cut, grind, weld etc. I sure miss those days. Have a good one
What's the warmer weather kicks in, I'll be able to do more cutting welding and grinding... It just has to be outside now. I really want to finish the mini off-road mower build
I bought that same 3 drawer box in 1984 and still have it. The beam torque wrenches don't go out of calibration, just make sure its zeroed unloaded. They are much better than people think they are. You have a nice selection of tools!
I like those compound side cutters, Maun industries I believe. I've got a few pairs the jaws are as hard as hell. Love the massive Husky tool cabinet that's virtually empty!
That's just too funny! Always love any video you have published. Can't wait to see the mowers again but videos like these are great to see. Shop tours, tool use projects and tool reviews are awesome.
Just got the craftsman box with tools. I'm going to put handles on the sides. Tough because its double walled with 1/2" gap and not a lot of space between the rails inside. I took a set of heavy handles off a Harbor Freight 26" US General to;p box. Nice handles. The Craftsman box is nice for the money, the set of tools with it is probably a $80 set at best. Its got all 3 size drives, but not to many 12pt 1/2 sockets and tiny wrenches. Other than that, the box allows tons of room to add tools.
I have the exact same craftsman tool box but the dude who owned before me did moto cross, hotrod, and off shore boat racing. And all the stickers on it are all pre 1985. The things sweet.
I can't wait to see your latest romp with rob s, Lucky 7 Mud Mowers, and Mower Outlaw. You looked like a crazy 🐄 boy hanging off the side of your sears. They had gotten some cool footage of the Sears. Some of those angles was angles that I have never seen of the diesel. It made the Sears look huge in size. Stop by my channel and see the garden tractor I picked up last week. It's a 70s Montgomery Ward Variable Speed 15. I'm wanting to put 27x11x12 Interco Super Swamper Vampire ll on it with 21x7x8 or 19x7x8 for fronts.
Bench vise. (Preferably a Wilton)Prolly one of the most important tools in my garage. I use it one way or the other every time I’m working on something.
Walmart sells a Stanley rachet with a locking swivel head and an extendable handle. So far has been the best rachet I've ever head ans I can't even tell you how many times I've used it. I highly suggest you pick one of these up. They're like $15-$20.
Nice tools. You know when you tell your friends about what you do on You Tube, they get the crazy idea to give you tools, lol. I got like 10 of those little tool boxes filled with sockets, wrenches, files, and what nots. LOL. Awesome video, by the way.
Great video, add this one to your tool box. Have you ever seen the A-SURE OUT extractor? It can be removed in seconds if it breaks, no Welding EDM or DRILLING. After seeing it, only a fool would use anything else! All materials and labor made in the USA! For over 100 years the bolt extractor has changed in many ways, however the failure of a bolt extractor seems to have been carelessly overlooked leaving all users the possibility of catastrophic failure. Help support an American company. Thank you.
I love you tool boxes and what you got in them kind of reminds me of mine in disarray but I do have a lot of stuff amazing video and I like your stuff nice tools
Ya know fearless I don’t really know were to bgean I started watching your channel last year and began the road to building several mud mowers and finally got a Murray and basically everything you had done to your mower I followed as your vids were a daily household thing to me I stopped building abou the time your videos slowed down the Murray still sits untouched sense your tear down of the Murray as I lost interest in finishing as your vids were helping get through some of the tuff spots I’m still a supporter and have noticed some of the haters and hope that’s not why you’ve slowed down I hope life’s treating you well and hope to see more vids this summer I had to resub ya as I have a new phone and email but bro I am still watchin and supported get the Murray out bro we are all waitin to see it again. 👊✌️👍
Meh, screw the haters. Content is content and it's great to see something posted on your channel. Plus I always liek talking about tools! Looks like your boxes / chest is full of really useful common things, which is great. I have a huge chest and it's full of stupid one off shit you'll use like once in twenty years..... like a chrysler magnum fan clutch tool, or the timing locks for a Volkswagen BRM diesel so you can replace the timing belt.
dude i love your videos i wish u made more i dont care what anybody says just stupid videos like this are pretty awesome to watch and u threw some funny ass comments about things in there
I was trying to cover only hand tools, I left power tools out of it... I'm a new another video about the power tools I use, you know besides the grinder
the little 4.99 harbor freight tools are a waste of space i bought it just to fill some of the sockets im missing. but the ratchet thats in there the sockets literately just slips off theres no friction but like i said just bought it for the sockets
Hey man I just bought a craftsman lt1000 my trans just started acting up acts like it’s in neutral but I put it up on its side and then the wheel started turning
My dad bought some cheap ass twisted wire brushes and they are all over my house and garage and they get in your foot and your cats and dogs feet make sure to buy good ones not cheap shit it sucks
Great video. I am absolutely going to make one next weekend and reply to this one with it. I have 2 rol arounds plus several small chest boxes so it will be a long boring video lol
Had to sub I used all your craftsman videos to build my mower it's the pic in my avatar ,stole your slap shifter idea works friggin sweet ..... Do you know what's a good rear end I can put on a John Deere x300 the hydro is slow,,, I wanna use it to drive over to the golf course ,,, on road
Sooooooo exited u made another vid🤨😜😛🤪❤️❤️❤️ I fucking live your vids subscribed Since u got the sears tractor and I built one olmost like yours but different tiers paint job but everything els I have done the same pulleys like I said love your vids lol hope your doing awesome 😎 can’t wait for your next vid!!!!!!!!
well most of my tools are hand me downs from my great grandpa so theirs nothing exciting. althogh i almost feel sick when i think i have lost a socket, luckily i have not lost one for long.
Older craftsman mowers are what I consider the best base to start on, they are easy to work on, easy to add frame reinforcement , thicker than Murray frames steel, and a smoother ride with a more heavy duty front end. On one of my craftsman lt 4000s I welded 1 inch square tube up both sides of the frame with 1 or two cross members and it made the frame unflexible. I was going to do the same to my murray but it is impossible to do because of how the steering, clutch, and transmission are attached .
Everybody has socket organizers, nobody uses them cuz they're too much trouble. These, however, are the cats' ass. goo.gl/EU4Wtf Also, the magnet will stick to the side of your toolbox for quick access to grab & go.

My father-in-law loved all the gimic tools. He wasted so much money on them and so few actually worked.
i deff cant wait for more uploads, i love this channel

Thanks, I always make sure it's zero-ed before I use it
Buy a thread file and use it to cut the tips of your 45 pliers with it. Did that, and the thread file comes in handy too for fine threads.
Interesting☝
Breaker bar
Organize your sockets.
It'll save you so much time on the job and it helps prevent lost sockets. :)
"What's in my tool box", the manly version of "what's in my bag, backpack, purse, ect "
well done,i'm proud of you
We need to see a new build series like you did with the racing mower! That’s what got me into this channel.
Little tip for your cutters put chocking in the open side then cut it with a utility knife, catches the cut end instead of flying across the garage
I like those compound side cutters, Maun industries I believe. I've got a few pairs the jaws are as hard as hell. Love the massive Husky tool cabinet that's virtually empty!

Ditto on the 6pt/12pt preference. Thanks for sharing.
I agree with those useless tools, somebody just tried to overthink what already works! Great video!

Great vid Todd. It’s good to see an update. That’s usually what I use is about the stuff. But being a mechanic I have a lot more tools lol
Believe it, they now have those bent flathead screwdrivers/pry bars now, I seen one in a toolbox and he bought it like that
Your Channel is the best

Don't you hate it when it just flops around? That's what he said! 😅
What's going on with murray

This video was nice
Do you think a lt1000 craftsman 92 would be good for a mud mower? Please respond -r.m.k
yes for sure. my friend had one. it was an animal
Older craftsman mowers are what I consider the best base to start on, they are easy to work on, easy to add frame reinforcement , thicker than Murray frames steel, and a smoother ride with a more heavy duty front end. What’s the point of tool box if u cant organize them.
Have you ever been to mardens
No, it's funny because I actually just had a conversation with my cousin about that place... I'm going to have to make the trip up there soon!
Cordless drill
Not everybody has tools and not everybody likes tools and I'm surprised when I run across the man who doesn't care about having tools and I have
