The A Cappella Choir recorded one last amazing song for their CD. It was captured on video as well. Many thanks to the students that helped with the video work.
Only sweet, sweet Jesus deserves to have such a beautiful song sung about Him. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for praising Him in such a beautiful way.
Love to see young people singing about Christ. This generation might not be lost. Christ and His gospel leads to everlasting happiness and ability to return to Our Father
I'm thankful for LLHS, what I learned in a cappella has made a huge difference in my life. I'm glad to see these young men and women carry this tradition forward into their adult lives.
I love this so much. I listen to you sing this song several times a year, when I need to be reminded of the certain hope we have because of Christ. Heaven is real and I'm going there soon! Thank you for your encouragement. Beautiful!!
Lyrics: There's a peace I've come to know Though my heart and flesh may fail There's an anchor for my soul I can say "It is well" Jesus has overcome And the grave is overwhelmed The victory is won He is risen from the dead [Chorus:] And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles' wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise There's a day that's drawing near When this darkness breaks to light And the shadows disappear And my faith shall be my eyes Jesus has overcome And the grave is overwhelmed The victory is won He is risen from the dead [Chorus:] And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles' wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise And I hear the voice of many angels sing, "Worthy is the Lamb" And I hear the cry of every longing heart, "Worthy is the Lamb" [x2] [Chorus:] And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles' wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise
"There's a peace I've come to know Though my heart and flesh may fail There's an anchor for my soul I can say "It is wellThere's a day that's drawing near When this darkness breaks to light "It touches my heart to cry ! Thank you all singers, I want to sing with you all !

I agree it's not a cappella, but the piano is not intrusive and the harmonies are lovely, best I have heard for this piece.

Lyrics:
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"
Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead
[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes
Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead
[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
[x2]
[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
"There's a peace I've come to know

There's an anchor for my soul

When this darkness breaks to light "It touches my heart to cry ! Thank you all singers, I want to sing with you all !

Lenyllson Moura Beckenherst press. This is a Craig Courtney composition. Be well.
It's not a cappella if there's a piano!
