MIG29 is such a easy plane to fly......missiles are absolutely fantastic.radar isnt halfbad either(sure it isnt the f14 or f16 radar but it still is strong) just got mine this week and im loving it

Pantsir was unneeded, that's my opinion. 10km and 12km SPAA before Pantsir were already enough. Gaijin justified adding Pantsir saying 2s6 KD is not good, well it is not good because 50% of its users play it to engage tanks, not planes. FlaRakRad or Roland or ItO 90M or ASRAD have better air kills than 2s6 simply because they don't have guns, they don't have other choice but to focus clearing the sky.

Got my GDR Mig29 today. Played some rounds in Storm Arcade to spade it a bit.
Felt like me playing Ace Combat with 6x Heatseekers and the Gun is so great to play. Fast taps like Battlefield. 🤩

I personally dont play ground too much anymore since it feels like i only win if i play russia (big skill issue) so i enjoy watching you get good games in it.
Edit: you can use irst and radar to get a lead indicator in some jets like the f16 and mig29 so that can help with ammo conservation on helis
While I feel the same way, I personally only agree with that being a thing at top tier and it's mainly due to poor American and German teams. I've noticed in my Russian 10.7 I get uptiered far less than my American 10.7 and I personally believe it's due to the Turms-T at 9.7 which pulls me into downtiers far more often. I also lose more despite personal success with my American 10.7 while I struggle a bit more personally but win more often with my Russian 10.7. Personally, lower tiers have give and take. While Russia is powerful, it's due to good firepower and mobility, which is king in War Thunder. Despite that, America and Germany are also pretty good even if they don't always have the mobility to match. There's a lot more give and take in lower tiers.
@Zachary Clark with crossing into new boundaries of overkill spaa i have no motivation to use cas im ground, which defeats the entire point of me playing it as a cas main. My favorite ground brs are probably 10.3 america, 10.3 sweden, 7.0 russia and 6.7 america. Top tier is just fully ruined for me, i cant even use my swedish ito90m with the missile guidance changes which is the only real fun i got from swede 11.3
@@SprayandPrayman22 if the turms were affecting downtiering/uptiering for 10.7 vehicles, it would be affecting american or other nations, not russia. Your statement seems to be that because turms is popular you think its filling in russian players into thsoe battles, but it would be the opposite if the turms were popular, it would be filling more frequently for the nations not on the turms team.
@@kingderpington6082 It’s my only guess. While I still get uptiers it definitely feels less frequent then with America.

Anyway, I noticed at the very beginning when you flew the Mi-28 that you lock your yaw axis after tilting. Is my observation correct?
Hello my friend, and welcome back .. I was using 3 radar modes in Mi-28NM to catch both air and ground targets, tilting is default and auto .. I didn't bother to use it manually, unlike jets.
@@Hunter_i86 oh I think there was a misunderstanding in my question, I was referring to your piloting controls; rolling axis. You appeared to stay at an angle after rolling and it didn’t automatically return to the vertical position.
@@dannyd.4254 ah is it regarding the automatic roll on helicopter? So there is a keybind that you can set so when you press/activate it, you can sort of fly your helicopter like a normal aircraft in the roll axis. If you want to make it automatic again, you can press the button one more time. The keybind is called "Manual roll control mode" and I believe it also exists in the multi function menu under mechanization. Hope this helps:D

Hello my friend, camp .. follow teammates, don't play alone .. try to design at least one plan and remember one or two good positions for each map, watch OddBawZ or Nukenus for example and try doing what they do .. both of them are great tankers. Thanks a lot for your kindness :)

what is better chaff or flares or reinforced flares or mixed on su25 ? is it even worth lowering enginge % to decrease the heat ? for example if I turn the enginge off and spam flares ?
Don't engine off man, just flare against AIM-9L and any heat-seeker, some of them are immune to flares like Ozelot for example, you better be out of range or attack at high speed and dodge the missile by maneuvering.

Hello, it is like CCIP but against planes, you don't need to guess where to aim.

Hm observations, It seems in these several clips german players really like to bring the MIG-21SPS-K into GF yet I wonder how many bring CM into as I would say that's more needed then a cannon if at 12.0 GF.
Secondly hm Iraqi MiG-29? looking at the flag on the stablizers, It's a nice colour scheme.
Hello my friend, thanks a lot for your kind comment, I appreciate it .. players in Ground RB bring whatever plane they have, not everyone has top tier jets .. you know grind is painful in this game, and I'm from Iraq and I love my country that's why I use Iraqi flag, but not on all vehicles .. I like to be historical in the same time, I mean it will be ridiculous if I put the Iraqi flag on a Phantom for example, it is not realistic. Have a wonderful day :)

@@Hunter_i86 Wow, that some impressive flying. How do you manage to both control the aircraft and look around? I know there is a freelook bind. I use the default, "c". I will have to go and test it but I never had any luck trying to make maneuvers and freelook at the same time. Typically I have to level out or just go in a straight line, look around quick, then go back to flying. 🤷♂

Being level 100 for 10 years, AI kills and player kills are not separate, air battles and ground battles are not separate, so it ruins the "KDA" for those KDA enjoyers (ruined my Mig-21SMT kda back in the day when I used it as a ground attacker)

For top tier jets it is always advised to have expert crew mostly for G lock and target spotting

i cant fly helicopters either i crash or flies some where I do not want it to. it hard to controll. the only thing in what i succed in is taking off and then before I know it I crash

@@Asdekiller007 Oh ok, this video is recorded before the update .. and couldn't find anything in options to disable the new feature, the only way is if you want to use cannons on default sight do not lock the target with radar.

Helicopters ruins ground battle in top tier
Why use khrizantema missiles instead of 2 sets of vikhers?
It has more pen values, so it should be better against tanks
Prove me wrong, CAS, Drones and Helicopters ruin ground RB
Had a fight the other day, multiple passes with F-16 vs helis and no kills. Guns entirely ineffective. Mig-29 got into the fight and we hit each other multiple passes with no effect.
In the end, opfor airfield or the heli pad AI controlled SPAA whored the kill. Don't know which. I lost my jet to an AI after 3 gun bursts from Mig-29 did nothing to me.
Guns were fine. It feels like World of Warplanes now.
