Sort of the same process behind any good paint store has had for color matching for years now. On cars the big advantage is even if you know the exact color code and manufacturer of the paint used on you car. This process could possibly account for paint fade and aging from the sun. For example if you needed to repaint a full quarter panel and hoping to get a near perfect color match. Second best use case if you don't have any documentation on a prior repaint this should bring you damn close. I wasn't aware this process was available for auto's until now. Thanks for the information on this.
Damn, I didn't know you could remove the vents from the outside. I have a wonky one I wanted to replace, which I will do sooner now that I know it's not that difficult.
I live near that area and am thinking of going, how did the new paint look on the chip on the rear of your car? And about how much was that little bottle?
I am very happy with the paint match, but I’ve only used it on a few spots with small chips since I’m not the best at doing this. I think to get excellent results, I would have to buildup touchup layers, let them cure fully, and then color sand and polish them to achieve a perfect blend. I paid $19.26 for the small bottle. 😊👍🏻
Awesome paint supply shop! I sure wish we had a shop like that locally!👍
Wow. That is so cool. Is that similar to the paint matching they do at home supply stores?

Amazing. I did not know..
Great video .. were you satisfied with the color match ?
Thank you! For the small chips and scratches I’ve touched up so far, yes! 😊👍🏻
