No point having tonnes of power if you can’t use it, reliable power is what its about. Could quite easily run 500bhp with a bigger turbo but it’s heat management which is the biggest issue
@@Kitch96 I have the same opinion when using my Megane RS on track, it's funny when you see some people who have over 400bhp but they're lapping not much quicker than a standard car with a quicker driver
its so well built, interior is basically engineered. was wicked to see it out and get to nose round it, jaks a top lad aswell 👌 videos mint as usual bro 😎
Found your channel after watching LLF videos .Love the content fam would love to see more street car builds under 500hp for us simpletons! subie content would not go astray either ! Subbed
Ahh great stuff! Thanks very much mate. Got some Subaru's lined up for next year bud 😊 Got a couple of other things planned that will be up your street too 😉
Another good video Luke. Top build Jack! It's come a long way since I was sat in the passenger seat 😂. Looking forward to seeing this on track one day. 👌
I hear some rumble under braking. Warped discs or becuse they are groved? I run groved on my own car also and always windered if that is the reason it rumble under hard braking.
@@MrFabioSsousaA bit late but the S55 sump is incompatible with the B58 motor, not sure if the S58 sump is compatible either. From what I've seen, the variable oil pump on the B58 has been shown to be stout and reliable. At higher levels of racing, the pump modulation can become inconsistent resulting in suboptimal displacement of oil. You can unplug the modulator for the pump and it should run at 90psi all the time. Luckily at the levels that people are tracking their B58 engines, oil starvation doesn't seem to be a problem yet. I'm sure installing an accusump wouldn't hurt
Unfortunately, I've figured out it has two sides to it - One being Patriotic to the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars, which is what alot of the UK recognise it for (myself included) ... The other not so good for numerous Historic reasons. It will not be worn again, as I'm aware it can be offensive. Apologies
Finally someone who actually understands that track/race cars don't need to have 600bhp and prioritises safety and handling, beautifully setup car

@@ligma_nutz for sure mate! The added power for the rwd is ideal out the corners, especially with a tonne more toque
Yep, and the good handling is where all the fun is from, not loads of power!

Finally, a channel who does on track reviews, been wanting to find a channel like this for ages. SUBSCRIBED👍🏼
Thanks very much mate, I really appreciate that 💙🏁

Brilliant car, such a top spec build, no wonder it handles so fantastic on that track, credit to the owner.
Agreed! Barely scratching the surface in terms of pushing it. Mega bit of kit with so much more in it 👌🏻
Lovely, thorough review of a cracking trackday car. Good work, keep it up! You got my subscription for sure.

Solid driving and well built M135i 👌

Great video! Awesome car too
Great car! Glad you enjoyed it 💙
what wide has the wheel rim front and rear?
Awesome video Luke...car's not bad either Jak ;-)
😆😆 Thank you matey! 💙
Nice build Jack. How are you measuring temperatures? I assume on the wheel?
Oil and water temps on the small screen on the steering wheel
@@Kitch96hi, nice video. What temperature does engine oil and radiator water work at? does it increase a lot? Thanks
Waiting to be amused 🤩🤩🤩
Hope it lived upto expectations! 😉
@@GEARED_MrLucas oooo yes 🙌 👏
i wanna know whats in that black mr2
seat time & good tyres
Probably k20 , seen not one of them giving a good run for the money to these big budget builds
Pretty sure it was a K20, was absolutely rapid! Unfortunately I didn't see him in the pits to ask. Looked really well setup and driven well too!
Such a nice car that!!! 👌👌👌
Mega isn't it! 💥
what wheel size do you have ? and offset / et ?
Drop Kitch a message on instagram mate, I'm sure he'll tell you
Nice🤩👌what’s the camber and toe settings, front and rear?
Thanks mate 👍🏻 Not sure on the toe settings, but camber on the front is -5 degrees. Rear is around -3 I think...
😁👍
Proper Job that👍
Definitely mate! 👌🏻
nice review and car
Thank you mate 💙
Great vid again , doesnt loo much quicker at donny that day
Thanks matey 💙
Mint M135i 👌
Proper isn't it! 👌🏻
Are these cars fairly reliable in two minds weather to buy one
Yes they are! However... this has since suffered the engine go unfortunately 😔 A B58 engine is supposedly a better choice and more reliable
@@GEARED_MrLucas I’ve seen 2 B58s engines go too! Both have flaws tbf
That’s proper 👌🏻
Glad you agree mate! 👌🏻
Nice video 👍🏻
Thanks bud 💙
Did u have the turd v2?
I did indeed mate 😊 Great car!
the real question is how fast do you have to go for a 2 year ban? 😂
Enough to upset the local constabulary 😂 ie 118 in a 60 😬
@@Kitch96 bit harsh, when you consider you could drive around steaming pissed and only end up with a years ban
@@jameslovell3684 tell me about it! But you live learn
Vi uno igual aca en santa fe,calco performance
Te gustan ellos?
Let me get this straight. He did all that work and is running a generic map?
Whaaat?
The car is awesome but I absolutely did not understand a word the owner was saying. Had to switch on the subtitles….
Guessing this has a M2 sump/oil pick-up...
S55 setup. Same as an F80 M3
I’m so let down with these m135i because of the N55 oil sump…
Unfortunately this has suffered and engine loss since filming 😔 But he's going B58 this time round 💪🏻
Wow, and he did swap the oil pick up system for the S55’s

Great wheels 👌🏻
Thats my mate at 16:45 sorry 🤣
😄 Haha, It's all good mate!
All that work, and it’s the automatic!?!?
You’d save 20kilos just by not having the giant slushbox in there surely!
I was actually quite impressed with it to be fair. It suits and works with that engine very well 👌🏻 He's had an M2 7 speed DCT put in now aswel
