Just a clarification the Fantasy (green) and Wild West (yellow) Objectives only require 2 attractions. I for one think I'll remove the Cover 6 Tile icons, and 2 Arborist obj ones for future games. I may give them to a new player to help them learn how the game works but otherwise it's just a free 6 points. Over 2 games at 2p and 3p no one used the Arborist action.
Thanks for reviewing this one, Alex. I have yet to add a tile-based polyomino game to my collection. It was almost Isle of Cats, but I got a little over it during the last crowdfunding campaign. I looked at The Grand Carnival, but I like that there is a bit more going on with Tenpenny Parks. And solo play is a must so this one is def going on my wish list. Thanks!
I've since picked this one up. I've played a few times, solo and 2P. I like both. I DO like the solo puzzle. The AI takes the highest valued card each round which tends to be the one you can get the most VP in both advertising and end game scoring, as well as pushes you furtherest up the tracks. So keeping up with that becomes a big challenge. And they always get 10 cards so they always get that bonus. I like Tenpenny Parks for where it sits in my collection. Not heavy, fun to look at, fun for new gamers. I'll probably pick up another game in the future for that true poly game experience.
Finding out that polyomino type games are becoming one of my favorite genres. Perfect mixture of easy enough to play with family but also crunchy enough to not be boringly easy. Have loved New York Zoo and Tenpenny Parks. Bought Isle of Cats and Barenpark and am excited to try those soon. Also based on your review, Planet Unknown is now very much on my radar to look out for sales.
same here. i have been liking Polyomino games a lot. i own Isle of Cats, Tenpenny Parks and Planet Unknown. they are all enjoyable, but if i have to keep one, i will pick Planet Unknown!
Thanks for the awesome review, Alex!!
Thanks Nate :) and thanks for the game :)
Thanks for the review. I love Barenpark and I am enjoying Planet Unknown too. Will wait to try this one at some point. Cheers
Anytime ☺️

this remind me of roller coaster tycoon in the 2000... bit nostalgic
Oh man, such a good game, I've tried going back into it... And while it's still good, the magic of being a kid and playing it is gone.
Another that I want to play but have no desire to purchase. Isle of Cats and Barenpark are scratching my polyomino itch. Thanks for the review.
Anytime ☺️
@@BoardGameCo how did you miss isle of cats?
Have you played Meeple Land? I own Isle of Cats, Planet Unknown, should I get this one as well?
I have not played meeple land yet unfortunately
It's the same theme as this one but it has the buses that bring visitors to the park, quite fun, I just ordered this one, thanks!
I enjoyed The Grand Carnival, have you played that one? thank you!
I don't have any polyomino games, but I am interested based on your vids. If I were to get one which one should I go for to start off?
