The ground jammer is much more effective at clearing the skies and map of enemy killstreaks. It is the EMP from other games after all. It may last only 10 seconds, but any eletronics/killstreaks the enemy team has out are destroyed. Air Superiority is basically the SAM Turret from other CoD games, except its an A-10 Warthog now that makes two strafes back and fourth on the map to clear out the skies of enemy choppers. It doesnt always hit its target though.

If its support streak then id say the best way is to use air superiority you can usually earn that before someone gets enough points to call in air support and it takes out all of them.

The M.A.A.W.S. is good at taking out air targets, but it takes up a killstreak slot. An LMG with armor piercing rounds can take a helicopter out of the sky with ease. This works best with the M27-IAR LMG.

I love using the Maw on people, especially if you fire it and they start to shoot at you, just make it curve back behind them and blow them apart from the rear! But you do have to becarefull you don't shoot yourself as I have done that many times lol

One more thing. The "air superiority" killstreak wipes out all air support, but it takes more kills that the MAAWS laser-guided rocket launcher.
So without a maaws, whats my best option for shooting down air support? Armor piercing lmg? Aimbot panzerfaust? I wish they would bring back lock on.
i found it more effictive to use the 3 round burst AR
i just run 2 silent LMGs for my anti air class... about 5-10 seconds to take down a chopper

They aren't heat-seeking missiles so flares shouldn't divert them -_-
I don't understand why flares would divert the missile if it's lazer guided, flares only divert heat-seeking missiles.

Well, CoD has had air support since the start and launchers have also been in for a while, and in real war, you do shoot helicopters down, so, there is no copying...
