Muhammad and the appearance of Satan in the Cave of Hira The source is in the book (Sahih Al-Bukhari, part 4, page 1894) as well as in (Al-Sira Al-Halabi, part 1, page 337) on the authority of Aisha, she said the angel appeared and choke Muhammed 3 times while he was in the cave of Hira, so t Angel Gabriel said to Muhammed, “Read, Read, Read.” Then the Messenger of Allah said, “I am not read, the source (Al-Sira al-Halabi, part 1, page 407) says when the Qur’an was revealed to him, he was unconscious something like a faint after phobic, his eyes closed and his face became dull ( his face blackened) meaning that Muhammad was possessed by Satan. This is documented in one of the Islamic books.

Narrated by 'Ikrima
Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"
