man L118, L120 and E110 are in need of some serious light upgrades. you can't even see them flashing in the daylight
They're flashing fine. Strobes don't pick up well on camera though.

Great video. Can't beat the federal Q with horn blasts. People need to learn how to get the hell out of the dam way and off their frickin cell phones. Flames travel fast, smoke kills, wrecks can be deadly and seconds count.

No question about it - those horns and sirens are riveting!! But, I am constantly amazed at how heavy and slow-getting started moving forward most fire trucks are. In addition, watching videos of firemen on the scenes of many videos on UA-cam once they have arrived a fully-engaged homes and businesses burning, there is no rush or energy in their movement to get water on the fires. Does anyone else see these accusations in the scenes from videos?
Why rush things? Rushing gets members hurt or killed, which makes it harder to focus when someone you work with is dead or on their death bed. The only time you'd see anyone rushing is if there is confirmed entrapment inside a building. If lives aren't in danger, why would you put them in danger?

Is it just me, or are these sirens and horns music to the ears? I don't know whether or not that makes me sound like a bad person. I know that the men and women who drive those trucks have a super important job, and that they are risking their lives while doing it, but I just love the sirens

Simple curiosity. I don't know how it is in my country (maybe it is likewise), but apparently fire trucks in Pennsylvania are authorised to pass Red Lights?
Angel Prez Carametro if it's a code 3 then they are allowed to run red lights and fire trucks can go 60 mph

Yes, she is a crossing guard. They are on all the major/busy intersections during times when school students are going to and from school.

Heads up to the PFD. Your lighting is terrible. At night it isn't much better. Upgrade to Vision SLR. Your old Whelen lights are the worst!
