Michael’s back and we’re receiving Peacocks for the Chateau! 🦚🦚🦚

In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. UA-cam earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

The first gift you received hits close to my heart. My daughter is 23 and is suffering from anorexia. We are trying our best to get her healthy again. I'm praying for her and will pray for you!
Natty is such a special soul, you can tell she is so smart and does a lot of behind the scenes work yet she is so softly spoken. Her love of beautiful things is evident. I would love to see a Nattty cadeux episode- let’s shower this self effacing and often overlooked young woman with lots of lovely gifts.

Thank you to each of the charming ladies and handsome gentlemen of the Chateau Unwrapped cast of characters for helping to make this video in Thor’s honor so enjoyable. As to the peacock napkin rings, now at a count of twenty-four, I had already purchased twelve when some months ago I saw on another Chateau Unwrapped episode that a viewer had sent in twelve of the same napkin rings. Oh well, I thought, the Chateau will end up with quite a pride, as a group of peafowl may be called. Though it’s said that peafowl do not play well with others, I think these twenty-four will get along beautifully.

Europeans are more knowledgeable about the states than US citizens. My generation had geography classes from 3td grade through HS.

I've never been compelled to comment in ANY of your Channels Stephanie and Phillip! I'm now at 26.49 minutes. I've stopped!!! Phillip knows who 'Nellie Olsen' is!!! OML! I'm 51 and grew up in Australia with Little House on the Prarie and wore the 'Holly Hobby' outfit complete with an apron and bonnet made of course by my beautiful Mum RIP. Thank you Phillip for seeing Nellie's hair in the pink ribbon and taking me back. You are the oldest sole in such a wonderful young man's mind.

The blue teabag thing: once you toss the teabag, you can set it with the little handle up back on top of of you cup of tea to keep your tea hot longer (as well)

Greetings from Canada! How about a small garden bench upholstered with that lovely fabric? Something a little more portable than a chair, that could be tucked under one of the tables in the green house when it's not in use.. I can totally see Mummy pruning the roses in comfort, seated on the lovely bench! And don't forget that the garden bench could also be used as a small ottoman under the pergola! Best of all, it would be a fantastic excuse for another trip or two to the brocante to find the bench that's there waiting to be re-upholstered😉
