When I was playing in pee wee hockey some 20 years ago one of our best players got checked hard the whistle blew and he took a few seconds to start getting up, as he did he leaned on his stick and it snapped underneath him.
This is great, for a part two if you're going deeper into the pass you have Jason Pominville saving his own shot on the goal line and of course the one I'm saltiest about, the Flyers scoring by putting the puck through the side of the net and it counting.
Watching all those Ian Cole clips just made me feel real sad, because if he isnt Edmontons leading goal scorer in the series, the Canucks probably win the series.
Also I remember a leaf game from about 95 or so. In San Jose, leafs goalie get hurt. Then backup gets hurt (I think it was Glen Healey) then the play after that the emergency goalie was hurt.
The refs and the league should get in trouble for that play with the calgary player. He was down on the ice for a good while and they said "eh hes fine" just for him to get nailed with a slapshot. That guy couldve died
They don’t blow the play dead until there’s no more immediate scoring chance they will not blow the whistle if there’s an immediate scoring chance which there was so they made a good call or not calling the play until the injured players team touch the puck which they never did
The refs did not make a mistake. They didn’t blow the whistle because there was an immediate scoring chance they would’ve blown the whistle if there was no immediate scoring chance and or if the injured players team touches the puck, you should know the rules first before you say anything.
I get the justification for 'testing' the stick to see if its cracked or broken so it doesn't happen on the ice, but you already used up all your sticks.. Why test the last one in the box? You going to have to go back out there
Don't understand the necessity of 'quick change' blade holders. Particularly on goalies.. They always seem to be falling out, not breaking. I get it for a player, they can get new blades on a shift change, but a goalie needs to wait for the period to finish anyways? Seems like equipment companies would be better off spending the development on a blade that is fastened like in the past, but is faster to remove so it could be done on the bench on a shift change. It really could not be that hard to design a solid single screw system. One day a players blade will fall out, it will get hit by the puck, go flying and cause a serious injury to somebody.
come on delta. nh; bad luck featuring injuries and you show the habs for 3 seconds NOT featuring their world leading eleventeen hundred man games lost? come on now.
@@politicalbandwagon4989 lol it’s the fucking pass back that gives it away to me. Like they’re 5 on 4 and he fucking passes back just so homie can take another clapper at the dudes ribs.
The old saying goes true, "You gotta be good to be lucky and lucky to be good." Perfectly describes hockey😂
poor Kuemper, couldn't catch a break, exept for his skate blade.
It’s so funny how Derek grants clips where on two different teams like 5 years apart
yeah were those really his two FIRST nhl goals or did he really just not score in those 5 years
They actually were as he was mainly an ahler
yep played mostly ahl and now NL
1 season apart little buddy stop spreading nonsense if you don’t know what you are talking about
The Ian cole ones pissed me off so much😔
Lol
same! i am SO happy he’s gone now.
Sole reason why we lost to Edmonton
@@jaymewillett1675Sure
Freaking sleeper agent for the Oil, my goodness
I remember watching those Kuemper ones lol
I remember that game for Sid this year, didn't think he was gonna make it to the end of the period
Feel so bad for that Calgary player (sorry, don't know his name). Dont think it's intentional but damn.
The islanders entire 2023-2024 season could be here
w vid delta love your nhl higlights bro🔥
Thank you Gavin, I appreciate it brotha
Those 3 own goals perfectly sums up Cory Schneider’s tenure as a devil. Still kills me that they were never able to put a decent team in front of him
Kuemper got done soooooo dirty with the DJ playing Skate right after... poor guy

you forgot the clip where Eriksson Ek block 3 shots from Shea Weber in a row
@@officialwoodyzepaynegames7981 I didn’t include it because he was purposely trying to block the shots.
😂😂😂that devils ducks game! My wife a die-hard devil and let's just say, I had some cleaning and fixing to do when that game was over!😂😂😂

That second Ian Cole one was a textbook tip. Idk what he was thinking.
the flames player😂 took 2 for the team
ian cole was one of the best oilers players that series
Seems the sticks and blades needs some better quality management ??

That’s a fact but i don’t really like that rule so I do hope it changes
But in some cases they can be faking an injury to stop the play

Ian Fucking Cole. Don't miss that guy one bit
ian cole was 1 of the reasons the canucks lost good thing they got rid of him
Poor Corey schneider 3 times you were scored on by your own team
What happens if they break all their sticks and they are on the road? Isn't there rules about using other peoples sticks like legal length and stuff.
SILOVS MENTIONED RAAAAHAHHHHHHH
I still will never understand quick change blades on goalies. The risk of losing a blade is much worse than the extra 10 seconds to undo a bolt.
