I can’t relate to this exact condition, but no matter how uncomfortable it may be it’s always good to get a second opinion from a doctor who may specialize in this condition. Even if you don’t want kids this minute, it’s a long term decision if you choose to go latter of the pain. A specialist may be able to give some pointers on how to subside cramps as well. ❤

As a holistic nurse, mama of 5 whose also suffered with the evil cousin for many years(damn him grr),had an abnormal pap smear(which I was able to beal naturally & never had another abnormal one since) & one of your loyal supporters since 2016...my heart goes out to you queen❤️❣️.They said the same thing to me about a hysterectomy. ThankGod I didn't listen to them. My children are my ❤️. Even with the evil cousin, I was able to bring 5 beautiful treasures into this world(all natural home births). The pain was unbearable at times when shark week hit. I finally found a phenomenal naturopath who checked all my hormone levels and prescribed the most amazing natural herbs. Between that and bioidentical hormones, acupuncture, hyper baric chamber, IV nutrition..my pain every month was nonexistent. I have friends my age (48 yrs young haha) who regret daily their decision to get either an ablation or hysterectomy. The issues they have now are neverending(prolapsed bladder, bowel issues, accelerated aging to name a few)...it's heartbreaking. You need to do whats best for you. I just wanted to share my experience. Pray and ask God for wisdom and an amazing naturopath to help you through this. Ok..confession time...there might be a selfish part of me that was so looking forward to your adorable alphabunny mini me's😝🤣but in all seriousness this is a decision only you can make. A very serious one. Trust your instinct. Get a second opinion. Pray and ask God for wisdom. You're so loved, so brave..so amazing. Love you Queen😘❤️😘🔥🔥.

Loving the realness in this video! I'm a nurse working in a surgery recovery area and I say, get a second opinion! A hysterectomy is usually the last resort especially with you being of child bearing age still, definitely look into other doctors opinions and research other ways to help lessen the symptoms! I get ovarian cysts and birth control has helped me, unfortunately when I decide to stop birth control and have kids, the cysts can come back. It literally sucks being a women having to deal with all this but keep us all updated as you are not alone!!! ❤❤❤

Love that you opened up❤ Sending lots of love! I had a biopsy 10 years ago due to an abnormal pap and now just had it again a few months ago. I hated the biopsy too, it’s so uncomfortable and painful afterwards. I don’t have your diagnosis, but I deal with chronic UTI pain 😢 I’m sorry you are having to process everything, but stay positive and do something for yourself to take your stress levels down.

It's managed the condition pretty well for awhile now, but I'll have small cramps from time to time. Good luck Heidi and all experiencing this kind of stuff. I have endometriosis. I know it's not the exact same, but my periods are a nightmare. I have to make sure I'm in a safe place because I've passed out in public: at the gym, at school, while driving (well I pulled over in time) crossing the street... just awful. So, I understand the feeling of just hopelessness. I did have surgery a few year ago to get parts of it removed, but it did grow back a little and now my doctors are "waiting for more to grow" to talk about another surgery. I've never been told I need a hysterectomy, but I understand the frustration of not liking what your doctor is offering. Pain management is the name of the game for me. Sending so much love and support!💜

Thank you for being open and vulnerable!! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, an over active pelvic floor and possible endometriosis. Im doing PT for the pelvic floor which seems to be helping but in order to control the extremely painful periods (and intercourse🙊) I had to stop consuming sugar free drinks and food, limit caffeine (i'v slowly reintroduced at the 6 month mark) and avoid foods that trigger an inflammatory response. For me that is dairy and gluten. It hasn't completely fixed the problem but at least now medications will help ease the pain and some menstrual cycles I don't even use a heating pad, which I never thought I would be able to do. Like another comment said I would def get a second and even third opinion. I love you Heidi and I'll keep you in my prayers❤

I have the same condition (adenomyosis) as well. Diagnosed 4 years ago.
    The cramping is horrendous.
I find during times of stress the symptoms are way worse.
I got the same advice of a hysterectomy- which at age 32 was not ideal news. I have not done it. I currently have a Mirena IUD which has helped with the cramping and bleeding.
I was recently reading about Uterine Artery Embolisation as an alternative to a hysterectomy that allows women to keep the uterus and doesn’t trigger menopause. My symptoms are still manageable right now, but that will likely be my next steps as I inevitably inch closer and closer to unmanageable pain.
I am adding you to my prayer list as you navigate this Heidi. ❤❤

Being relatable is such a super power and although you look a certain way and have a booming business your just like the rest of us, still a human living a life! big hugs girly! Whatever decision you make will be the best one for you. I hope you find peace and comfort in your decision with your health. 🥰🥰 sending you all my love! I have suffered from abnormal cramping and found that not sitting for very long has helped the most. Never let that blood sit and clot. My gynecologist actually recommended that I take Naproxen or a spring to thin the blood.. it will make for a heavier period flow wise but it really helps with the cramps and the clots.... On a silly note tho, I thought it was funny when immediately after got your allergy shot you said "thank you" I did the same thing at my flu shot and was like.. wait that was such a weird moment... like I was thankful to get my shot and for my nurses time but on the other hand I didn't want or enjoy that either lol.

I don’t have diagnosed endometriosis, but as a nurse, I know I just may have it and planning on going to a specialist to get a confirmed/official diagnosis. Advil liquid gels, raspberry leaf tea, and electric heat pad during bedtime all help me! I think that if you want children, you should wait until after to consider a hysterectomy. I hope this helps! Lots of love 💕 🙏🏼

Not sure if you read each of these but hopefully you do :)
You and I met back in 2015, before IG was big big, and I subscribed to one of your original work out programs! Seems like forever ago. But anyway, I check in every now and again to see how you’re doing. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I recently went through a similar situation. I was on birth control from age 14 until this past year. I went off of it after our wedding in September 2021. Since then, my cramps have been HORRIBLE. It was to the point where it felt like my ribs were adhered to my lungs. I can’t work out, I can’t breathe, and I live on a farm so needless to say I need to be physically active each day or things around here suffer, literally 😂 I had a biopsy, an external and internal ultrasound, and an MRI. Before you panic, just remember that these things are actually normal, just not discussed openly often. There are things that can help before you jump to a hysterectomy. Try to take one thing at a time ❤️ thankfully I have a wonderful husband who is so supportive and helpful, and I’m sure Christian is the same. We are going to try some bloodwork to see if I’m infertile. And if not, we will try for kids before I reach 30 (I’m 29). If so-more severe options will be considered because the pain is so awful. But one thing at a time. Hope all these messages give you some relief. ❤️

Loved this video! Not that you’re in pain, but loved how you were showing real
Life. Honestly kinda gave me the old videos vibe when you filmed on your own! I’m sorry you’re going thru this, but if anything using your platform to spread awareness will be so helpful to women who follow you. I have always struggled with bad periods since starting my period at age 10, and after watching this, it’s making me realize that no, it’s not normal to feel like you’re dying from the inside out. I have a 3 year old and my cramps literally feel like my contractions did in early labor. Good luck and praying for you!

Heidi!! I grew up feeling so abnormal, my periods + cramps would literally feel DEBILITATING! It took me 12+ years to be properly diagnosed with Endometriosis after going through tons and tons of doctors. They told me the only thing I can do was either birth control or a hysterectomy. I ended up getting a laparoscopy/excision surgery where they removed as much of the endo as they could find. It definitely helped for the first year but as we know, it can grow back. I worked with a holistic specialist/nutritionist that helped me reduce tons of inflammation in my body which is a huge part of endo + adeno. I eventually want children and id love to have them myself if thats whats meant for me so id rather take the longer approach healing my body naturally -its a longer, tedious process- but you'll be able to get your body back! I truly dont believe removing your uterus is the end all solution!

@@jtuck5725 yes! This is not a decision to be made on the gyno table the same day you get your results. At the age of 38 and after having kids, it’s not as bad of an option, although risky nevertheless. Heidi is still a woman that needs to pop her babies out first. Definitely would make sense to get alternative opinion from various sources first.

It’s strange to see this because I literally experienced the same thing. I went in for a normal paps and got a call two weeks later that I have abnormal cells. I went in on the 26th for my second biopsy and received results today that I do not have cervical cancer. Going the past month wondering if I was going to need a hysterectomy or if they’d just be able to zap the area was stressful. It was joyful news but I also have a CrossFit competition in 2 weeks and these biopsy has detrimentally hurt my workout regimen. You can try to be as healthy as possible but there are some things that can’t be avoided.
It’s been a whirlwind but life goes on and you gotta keep going with it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for opening up!! I’ve got endometriosis, I’ve had cervical cancer cells removed and also the endo removed. It was so scary, especially only being 20 when this happened. CBD definitely helps, surgery and eating anti-inflammatory foods as much as possible. Sadly they will both always come back as I have an autoimmune disease on top of all of that so by body can’t fully get rid of all the cells and issues. I’m not sure if maybe being on a specific contraceptive will help? I have the Mirena IUD and it’s been really helpful. Wishing you all the best ❤❤❤❤❤

Oh, Heidi, I’m so sorry about the biopsy and diagnosis. I thinkkk you and I are relatively close in age. I had a biopsy of a breast mass last month and - while not the uterus - that wasn’t fun either. Just the stress leading up to it was enough to cause me to shake and sob on the table. I agree with what I’ve seen some other people here say about a second opinion. As a medical provider myself, I am never ever offended if a patient wants a second opinion. In fact, I encourage it. And I hope you feel comfortable in making the best decisions for YOU re: management. Sending lots of love! Xoxo

Hi girl. I’m sure my comment will get lost in this long thread but it’s crazy how much I can relate to you right now. I’ve recently had a biopsy on my breast rather than where you had it and it was terrifying. I completely understood you when you said “they took a. Sample out of me” (gags)…. That was ME. I was having a whole anxiety attack right on the table as they were doing it. I’m the end I ended up having a benign tumor which was great to know but horrible waiting process. I’ve recently found out that I also have to take allergy shots every week for the next 3-5 years and to see you do it made me realize we’re all just humans simply trying to survive. It’s wild to me. I also recently got a trainer for myself (although I’m a certified personal trainer) because sometimes it’s just hard. It’s hard to train yourself and it’s hard to simply feel motivated. I’m happy for you! Happy that you got up and showed up. And I’m happy it made you feel 100x better afterwards.
Thanks for sharing this video. I needed this today.

Then I saw a post that said, “if you’re feeling 100% and you give a 100% that’s great. If you’re feeling 60% and give 60%, that’s still 100% of what you have”. (Paraphrasing)

I had a hysterectomy almost a year ago (I’m 38). It honestly was the best decision I’ve ever made, I knew, but didn’t really realize how much my life was impacted by painful, heavy periods. They were able to leave my ovaries so I did not need hormone replacement therapy, which I’m grateful for. My quality of life has drastically improved now that I’m not bleeding and in so much pain all the time :).

Hope all is well for you. 🙏 I had a biopsy last year on 6 masses in my uterus. ALL benign, thank god!! 🎉 5 years ago I had a surgery to remove 2 masses and thought okay it’s gone. I did research and made the best decision for my health after the doctor told me my issue only gets worse and I could develop cancer in my uterus. I was always in pain that radiated in my stomach through my entire back. Always had anemia and hated when anyone touched my abdomen because I was in constant pain. I had a full hysterectomy this year and never felt better. *Kept Ovaries and no more periods!! Yay! Had no clue so many of my chronic back and stomach pain stemmed from my uterus until I fell down and got a CAT scan for the fall and that is when the initial mass was discovered. Crazy how life works.

Heidi! I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis in 2017. I know there is no exact cure. But I went to a naturopathic doctor. It has saved my period cramps. They did blood work and tests on me to figure out the perfect diet and supplements for my cramps. My cramps used to be so bad that I would vomit and couldn’t get out of bed. This has saved me. I still have the condition but the last ultrasound I had, my obgyn had said my lining was looking a lot better. It’s been a journey for me.

Praying for you! It’s an emotional ride.
I did have abnormal paps, and had to get biopsies done. Turns out I had a very aggressive form of HPV, and had to get pre cancerous cells removed.
After two years, the same thing happened again, and I ended up getting a hysterectomy because of two reasons: 1. I haaaaate paps, biopsies, everything happening down there makes me gag just thinking about it and the uncomfortable process. (obviously also the risk of cancer considering they were very high risk strands). And 2. I already had my three precious babies.
I know we don’t have the same thing, but wanted you to know you’re not alone. Praying for you because it is emotional no matter what you choose. 🙏

Everyone will have different experiences with it but for me it was life changing ❤
