Good solid advice. They don’t have to act as a group, like they are in a gang. It is wise to remain above the fray.

Agree with Dr. Laura. You may miss your sister, but reconciliation won't work unless your sister is the one who reaches out to you. And that probably will never happen. It isn't worth it. It will all go back to the exact same way it was again.

I remember listening to Laura on the radio in SoCali in 2007 with my mom while getting stuck in traffic jams. Great times, and super glad to see you're still around!
You should go on Jordan Peteron's podcast sometime and duke it out on modern marriage. That'd be awesome! Would be freat if more people found you thpught that exposure, too lol

As soon as I hear “I have 4 sisters” I knew the nature of the question and the nature of the problem.
These large families are like cults. They are forever up each others’ backsides, and in general, are not people who separate from the hive and enter “normal” society and live fulsome, independent lives easily. They don’t look forward, they only look back.

We all judge. We must make judgments, in a discerning way, between right and wrong, between kind and cruel etc. Scripture admonishes us to use the same measuring stick on ourselves that we apply to others, NOT that making distinctions between good and bad should not be made.

Excellent consistency in messaging with callers across various topics/contexts.🔥❤

I wish Laura would have allowed the lady to speak more instead of cutting her off but the advice to not get involved in the situation was good.

The best part of her show is when she yells at the people which is basically every call... I love listening to people get shut up. Its great... I can't call in though I wouldn't take it l. I would tell her to shut up. I don't work for people and I don't take advice from anybody.... this show would not work for me if I called in. I'm not going to obey people when they tell me to shut up. I don't work for you... these are dialogues nobody should be telling anybody to shut up. But it's what makes the show entertaining..for me, anyways...

Dr Laura has not matured at all after all these years, she listens even less than she did back in the old days! There was no depth to this conversation whatsoever. I’ve always thought that’s just her survival technique, keeps her feeling in control 👍 But it was interesting to see her reappear after all these years!
