Helpful information Sir ,but i have a question, I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz sel about a month ago I'm having a problem with activation the reverse alarm system.. it does alarm me when I'm backing up and there is cars passing by but it doesn't alarm me when I'm backing up and getting close to an object. Can you help please.
Unfortunatly that vehicle does not have proximity sensors to know when it is getting too close to an object. The alarm you are hearing when cars pass is your "rear cross traffic alert" which operates from sensors in the rear quarter panels.
If you look closely at your dashboard in between the areas where you see the air vents you will see small holes. The diffuse button sends air through all of those holes instead of just through the vents allowing for more airflow with less velocity blowing right on you.

Yes we have a 2024 also and that feature is really missed along with no sunglass holder in roof of car❗️ come on cruz get with it❗️
